We had used Kosco Flooring several years ago to provide and install basement carpeting and was pleased with the cost and workmanship. In Nov, 2016 arrangement were made with Oji to provide a quote for a new dura-ceramic kitchen floor. This quote would also include 3 small steps and a small back door landing off the kitchen. Total area not including wastage was about 160 sq/ft. Oji came over to take measurements and provide a quote. To my surprise he said that there would be another $690.00 (tax incl) charge to remove the trim and existing linoleum in preparation for the install. I naturally assumed the quote of $2,700.00 included this. When I have a window installed I am quoted for the entire job. I've never heard a window installer say, "$1000 for the window and install but if you want us to remove the old window it'll be an extra $600". Anyway, I agreed to remove the trim and old flooring myself. An install date of Feb 9, 2017 was scheduled. The agreed upon price was $2,700.00 with me removing existing trim work and flooring. On the morning Saturday, Feb 4th I spent two hours removing the baseboards, hardwood floor transition pieces and door trim. My intentions were to have everything removed and ready for the Thursday install. That night I suffered a heart attack and spent the next 9 days in hospital after undergoing heart surgery. During this stressful time my son worked feverishly trying to remove the existing linoleum for the Thursday install. He was unable to remove all the old linoleum but did get at least 1/3 of it completed. My wife made arrangements to have extended family members present during the Thursday install. She then received a call from Kosco on Wednesday indicating they would not be able to do our floor on the date which had been scheduled 3 months in advance. Now, my wife stressed out because of my pending surgery is again scrambling to find someone else to spend the day at our house while the floor is being installed on the Friday instead of Thursday. Friday the job was completed. The installers worked very hard and did a satisfactory job. The width of the grout lines vary from 1/4" right down to 1/16" so they obviously didn't use the 3/16" grout line spacers that we agreed upon. They started late in the morning but stayed into the early evening to ensure the job was complete. The wrong vinyl stair nosing was ordered therefore could not be installed. Oji stopped by the following week to collect final payment and to install stair nosing on 4 steps. The nosing was not the very expensive nosing ordered (which matched the flooring perfectly) but a substitute which was purchased at a much lower cost compared to the custom nosing on the original invoice. Just for the record, I was not offered a reimbursement for the difference in price for this non custom nosing. What bothered me even more was the fact that my son and I had all the trim work removed and at least 1/3 of the linoleum but was still charged "full removal price" ($690.00) for the installers to remove what was left! Had I known this prior to our hard work I would have left all the removal work to the installers! Overall I was happy with the install but unhappy with the cost and lack of price reduction for the hours of hard work my son and I did removing trim and old flooring. Cheaper stair nosing was used and I still had to pay for the much more expensive custom nosing. Total cost $3,390.00 Repeat customer discount as promised: N/A Reimbursement for partial removal of trim & flooring: N/A Reimbursement for non matching inferior stair nosing: N/A

Removed 3 finished walls of recreation room as black mold was present along baseboards at floor level from previous water leakage. Suspended ceiling was to be left in place but drywall and studding was to be removed from floor to 8 inches below ceiling. Debris was to be removed via a basement window. I cautioned them to be very careful to "not" damage the ceiling. Ceiling was damaged in two places. Outside window box was damaged and knocked out of place. Debris was not fully cleaned up outside of window. Other than that the workers were very friendly and did a reasonable job of remediating the mold. It has now been 4 days since the job was completed and I still have not heard from the office. I had hoped they would contact me to inquire if all went well and if I was happy with the completed work.

I received an estimate from WindowRama. I was very pleased as this was the lowest estimate I received by a company that has a very high review rating. Within one week from the date of the estimate I was given a date for installation. The installers arrived on time and worked steady until all five casement windows were installed. They cleaned up the mess very well. I was so pleased with their quality of workmanship and the product itself that I recommended this company to a close friend who had seven windows installed. I highly recommend this company!

I had seven windows which needed to be replaced. My wife and I decided to do two at a time. Beverly Hills provided an estimate, I agreed and two windows were replaced early 2015. In January 2016 I received a call from a Beverly Hill sales agent indicating that repeat customers would receive 40% off on a purchase and install by Beverly Hills. I thought this was an incredible deal so I booked an apt with a sales rep for mid January. The next two windows which I wanted replaced were the same size and style as the first two which were done one year ago. His quote for these windows came in at the exact same price! I said, "what happened to the 40% off for repeat customers". His reply, "oh, this quote does include 40% off as the cost of the windows and install should be much higher". I then told him that this quote is the same as what I paid last year for the exact same windows! He has no answer. I told him that he just wasted two hours of my time! He said, "sorry". Needless to say I was not impressed with this ploy and declined the windows.

I contacted Cosmopolitan On May 4, 2015 to have an estimate to replace my central air conditioner. I was able to receive an estimate for a 2 ton, 13 seer Amana air conditioner over the phone which I accepted. I was very surprised to hear that they could do the install two day later. On May 6th Fred and his coworker arrived at 11:00am. Fred was very friendly and didn't mind answering my questions in detail. The new "A" coil wouldn't fit in the ductwork above the furnace but Fred was able to make alterations to accommodate the larger unit. It was clear that Fred took pride in his work! The worksite was neat and clean when he left. The entire installation took around 3 hours. They even submitted the warranty information for me. I highly recommend Cosmopolitan.

Purchased furnace and A/C in 2007 from Aire One. No problems with furnace to date. I decided to go with the extended 10 year warranty as the salesman Alex indicated I would benefit from a locked in price for the full 10 years. Near the end of year two I went to pay my yearly fee to maintain my warranty and was told that the price had increased substantially. I explained to no avail that the salesman assured me that my yearly fee was locked in at the same price. Due to this much higher unexpected cost I refused to continue with the warranty. The third summer I noticed the A/C was having difficulty keeping up on warm days and would often run all day and into the night without shutting off. The inside temp would also increase 3 or 4 degrees above the set point on the thermostat. The first two summers it had no problems keeping up even on very hot days. For years five & six I called a A/C repair technician who determined that the refrigerant pressure was low. He tried unsuccessfully to find a leak in the system. He charged the system back to it's normal operation pressure but within a few weeks it was running steady into the night and unable to keep up again. A few days ago I contacted Aire One for service. The technician arrived promptly and was very friendly and informative. He said that the refrigerant suction valve needed to be replaced for a cost of $1,050 but he recommended replacing the entire A/C unit for $3,000 as the extensive work necessary for this repair would likely degrade the A/C causing it to be inefficient and possibly shorten it's life. The Aire One technician indicated the cause to be the fault of the Aire One installers as they overheated this inline valve while soldering the line, which caused the valve to fail. Now I'm faced with having an 8 year old A/C replaced because of the shoddy workmanship of the installer. Because of the nature of the problem I feel that Aire One should pay at least 1/2 the cost to have this unit repaired or half the cost of a new air conditioner. Needless to say, I will be purchasing a new A/C elsewhere.
