Angela came by the house and quoted us and within a few days, we hired 2Gals to paint our house so it was ready to go for a sale. Let me tell you - the house has never looked better. They were quick, clean with 5-star quality. We had *several* comments from prospective buyers about how nice the interior of the home looked, and had a number of agents ask our agent who painted the house. Welll deserved for this great team. We've been lucky with hiring contractors on HomeStars and this was no exception. Tony and his team communicated regularly, made the process easy and were always courteous, even during a delay. Skipping the initial process, they showed up mid-February and spent a good two hours using plastic to cover the floors from the front door to the master bath. They covered the beds, dressers, you name it. This process in itself spoke volumes about their attention to detail and workmanship. Our job was a gut - right back to the studs. It went fairly well with only one minor issue (mold and plumbing) but even then we only went slightly over budget (like less than a grand) when all was said and done. There were a number of times Tony could have hosed us. I'm not saying he ever would but I dealt with a LOT of contractors in my day and Red Stone is nothing like the others. They care. The job is finally complete today, just over a month after they started. The renovation itself only took two weeks but due to Coronavirus, materials, etc there were some inevitable delays. We're not upset about it. They communicated regularly via phone and text. Tony would event text me each evening to tell me when to expect the next round. We will hire Red Stone again. They are admittedly slightly more expensive, but the quality of the work and the care that goes into it is worth that money. Here are a few pics. Tired of the competitor with the fancy song on the radio, I again found myself back on HomeStars! I came across Protection Plus and found their pricing to be reasonable and the feedback to be great. Nothing bad on BBB, boom, they had a customer. The installer showed up and was friendly, courteous and quick. I love this alarm system, the bright touch panel and the ability to 'wire' in your smart home wireless utilities. Don't have those yet, but maybe soon! Thanks again for your hard work. I recommend Protection Plus!

We often look on HomeStars for our contractors and I came across A1. I admit I called another company prior to them as their sticker was on the furnace already but they told me they can't come for a quick tune up until the end of November.... I contacted A1 and they were quick and friendly. I had to cancel the first appt due to an obligation that came up the next day and they changed it without any hesitation. The guy who showed up was quick and efficient and was about making sure my furnace was working well and not about trying to up sell products. Way to go, some people come in and try to tell you about every thing other than what they're there to do. I would recommend A1 to anyone that asks!

As we have done with most of our contractors, we looked on Home Stats and came across Done Right with some strong reviews. I called and spoke with Jason who was courteous and quick to provide me with the information I was looking for. He advised me on a Friday that he could come early the following week (today). Jason arrived when he said he would and was quick to get up on the roof and do the install. After, he walked around and checked to ensure that the rest of my roof was in good shape and made a few recommendations. If I was to redo my roof, I'd be sure to include Done Right in the process. As an officer I am pleased with Alarm Force, I have had the pleasure of dealing with their alarm dispatchers on many occasions. This experience led me to install a system in my own home and they've always been very helpful. I would recommend Alarm Force if you're looking, it's a small price to pay for an electronic guard!

I've been using Homestars and had a lot of luck lately with the contractors that come highly recommended. While searching for "plumbing in Oakville" I came across A McKenna Plumbing who had the highest rating. They returned my call promptly and upon speaking to him this afternoon, after asking "When do you need this done by?", when I said "As soon as possible" - he had someone at my door within the hour. Great service guys! P.S. - I had three other things on the list that I wanted done. The two guys that were here were knowledgeable and saved me money on things that I really didn't need. Kudo's to you for not pushing me into something I did not need.
