Picture this: Alan goes to uninstall the old dishwasher and discovers that in 2010 the hardwood installers covered just the front feet with hardwood. The machine would not slide back (no room) and we could not detach the feet/legs. Thank goodness Alan persevered and tried a few solutions, settling on using a drill to cut through the hardwood enough to release the front feet/legs. Epic fix! Invisible thanks to the skirt at the bottom. Then installed the new machine, made sure everything was working and left it all perfect. With this plus another great experience, we will always call Alpha if we need service. We appreciated your professionalism and problem-solving on a tough job!

Angelo and Artur arrived early and ready to work. They were thorough and quick. Easily backed the truck up our narrow shared driveway. I would highly recommend this company - great service.

Was referred to Allen and he made a repair to our 10+-year-old Kenmore dishwasher. Allen came exactly when he said he would, diagnosed the issue promptly, made the repair (difficult to get at because the dishwasher sits lower, on subfloor vs floor) at the price he quoted. He was pleasant and courteous and careful to clean/return everything to normal. I appreciated the service and, while we likely won’t repair this dishwasher again, would call Allen anytime to repair other appliances.

Very impressed so far by this company. Spoke to David Wed morning, and within an hour, Gabe was at our house taking a sample. We had results that same afternoon from the lab, and a quote that evening. Very prompt and expert/experienced in what they do.

I called JSN based on what I had seen here on Homestars, because I filled my top loading washer, but when I closed the lid it didn't start. There is a mechanism at the latch that triggers it to go, and I could hear and feel that it had failed. This was around 8 pm and I reached Sam personally. He asked for my address and then I heard a GPS voice - he happened to be 15 minutes away and offered to come right then. That alone is worth five stars! What was I going to do with a washer full of wet clothes? Anyway, he came right away, diagnosed the problem, replaced the part on the spot and you would never know he had even been there. My husband had gone out for dog food - the washer had broken and been fixed by the time he came back! Too great.

The dryer duct behind the wall had become unattached from the exterior vent. It needed replacing. Alex R. described a couple of ways it could be fixed. We settled on one and he went to work - he cut holes in the drywall, did the work really well, repaired the drywall, cleaned everything up beautifully, levelled the dryer when he put it back. I couldn't imagine better service. We will definitely call Handyman Connection again.

John and his crew created a hatch so we could get into/underneath our ancient mudroom. There was a ton of debris to be removed, but the site was pin-neat throughout and after the job. They needed to dig deeper than forecast and to install a window well for the hatch, and brought in a specialist to custom-make a grate/cover for it. When it became apparent that we had to fix a plumbing problem, John brought in an excellent plumber. He also recommended an insulation company to insulate under the mud room, and we were pleased with them, too. They came when they said they would come, did what they said they would do, dealt with the curve-balls effectively. Very professional, we will hire Ascot again.

I am very pleased with my clean windows. Sergio made sure I was happy with the quality of the work done on every window before he would leave. That is QUALITY. He also fit me in with a very short turnaround, which I appreciated very much. Prestige is now our go-to window cleaner, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

New Canadian Drain took care of our main drain problem very professionally, from start to finish. We appreciated that Bob described the situation to us and gave us options as to how to fix it. The work included digging up our front yard and was done with surgical precision, and such tidiness that you can barely tell the yard was ever disturbed. Bob was there when the City inspector came and showed us how to complete the paperwork for a possible rebate on the back-stop valve we had installed. It was a pleasure from beginning to end. Neat, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, effective. I would recommend this company to anyone.
