Part of our back fence fell down during a windy winter storm last winter. We have a pool so we couldn't leave the fence down. I contacted Alex through HomeStars and he prompted responded and came over to fix the fence section despite the cold and wind. He got the fence section back up but it wasn't perfect. I contacted Alex about fixing the problems with the repair and he enthusiastically responded that he would come to fix it after he returned from a trip in about a month. However, we were then in the pandemic so we arranged for him to come over when it was safe to do so which he did gladly and did a great job of fixing the couple of problems with the initial repair. Alex is great to work with and cares about client satisfaction. I strongly recommend he and his work.

Tommy replied to my HomeStars service request quickly last night and just came today. He assessed the pool heater which had the pilot light going but the burners wouldn't light. He determined that the culprit was a rusted out valve which he replaced. The heater is now working properly and he also painted a rusty part of the gas line. I very much appreciated his positive disposition, his expertise, and his quick and effective work. I'd highly recommend him and his company.

It was great making arrangements for the hardwood floor job with Jason. He’s technology savvy and we handled all communication using the HomeStars site and texting. I find that a lot of contractors want to do everything over the phone and I’m simply not available to do that given my job which involves being in front of an audience, in meetings, or on video conference calls.

A previous contractor did some renovations of our kitchen but didn't do a good job on a couple of walls and a part of the ceiling. We didn't trust that they knew how to do a proper job so didn't ask them to come back to fix it. Daniel came in to do the assessment, estimated the job, and then Richard came to do the work. Both Daniel and Richard are awesome! They communicated in person, on the phone, and, something I really appreciate, via texting. They were responsive, on time, polite and engaging. Best of all, they did a great job! My wife and I have high standards and they exceeded them. Great work Daniel and Richard! We'll be following up with you for future projects. By the way, the neighbors will also be calling you.
