I went to the website at 11am, discovered there was a 12:00-2:00 time slot available that day, with a $10 off discount! I was called at 12:00 saying they were 10 minutes away. They showed up, pulled into the drive way and 10 minutes later my garage was free and clear. I can't think of anything to complain about at all.

Our basement flooded during the massive Aug 4th storm over Burlington, Ont. I contacted The Basement Guy Waterproofing after finding them via a Google search for "window well repairs Burlington". Jessie came over and provided me a quote for the work, including a 25 year guarantee. While fixing the window well they unfortunately discovered cracks in the foundation which required a lot of additional work. Over the course of 3 days the entire crew, lead by Nicholas did a fantastic job. They trenched the side of the house, sealed the cracks, applied blueskin and a dimpled membrane, added a new stone layer above the weeping tile and then filed everything back in and graded the surface away from the house. It was a costly process, one I hope I don't ever have to do again, but the team from the Basement Guy made it as smooth as such a thing can be.

Steve's service was fantastic. I contacted them via email and they replied the next day. I explained the problem and they picked up the parts I needed, then came to my home the day after that. Steve was friendly and efficient, not only fixing the two items but also offering me "new home owner advice" on caring for my appliances. He also used Square on his iPad for payment, so as a techie myself, I love that! I'd 100% recommend Cascade.

I contacted DTS via their website and within a few hours they had emailed me back. We then spoke on the phone and in day we had set up the job. Derek outsourced to one of his local people (Robert's Tree Care) who did a great job. Small trees are actually harder than large ones, because instead of using big machines Bob had to get dig these out manually. After 30 minutes of chainsaw, axe, shovel and brute force, Bob had removed two small trees that were blocking our bay-window. He then raked up the mess and used a blower to clear away the rest. Great job!

Our hot water heater stopped working. Bruce (team member 3158) arrived the next morning and was excellent. He was here right on time (7am), put on booties to keep our house clean, fixed the water heater, then took a few extra minutes to talk to me about my AC and furnace. As a new home owner it was greatly appreciated. Same day service would have been nice, but next morning was not too bad.

This is the second time we've used A&D Movers, and the guys remembered us which was really nice. Both moves were complicated with multiple stops, elevators to deal with, and some furniture than needed to be dissembled. The guys never complained and had a "the client is always right" attitude. They were very careful with our things, expertly packaging items like our TV, paintings, etc. I can't get over how fast they could move boxes! Moving is never a pleasant experience, but the team was both professional and fun, telling lots of stories to help the day pass. I would highly recommend A&D.
