This is the third time I have relied on Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling. On this occasion I had a leak inside my home with the warming temperatures melting the snow. Yuriy was at my house in 1.5hrs clearing my roof of snow and opening up vents. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Hopefully this has resolved the situation but if not I know I can rely on this company to fix it!

In the middle of winter I had a small section of eaves trough hanging off my house. I didn’t want to wait until spring when further damage could have occurred. Neethan was the most responsive and had it fixed within 3 days of me reaching out. Cant ask for better than that.

Quality Home Roofing and Remodeling were the company commissioned to work on my roof via my insurance company after the storm this spring. They were worth the 2 month wait. Yuriy and his team went above and beyond to the point they will be one of my contractors of choice moving forward I only hope they do other work other than roofing. Its hard to find people you trust so when you do you appreciate and value them.

I hired TruGreen for my lawn care two years in a row. The first year was excellent, eliminated the weeds and the grass appeared rich and thicker. However 2016 we had a lot of rain so that may have contributed. Second year the service declined, late showing up for aeration and overseeding and applied two treatments within a week on one occasion. The grass was severally burnt for this season and I terminated my contract. Their service seems to be more expensive than most also.

Brookside Roofing has been my go too roofers since 1999 when I purchased my first house. They are dependable, honest and responsive. My last call to them was an urgent shingle repair due to wind damage. They were there the next day to address before any further damage occurred. Bill is a stand up guy who I trust without question.

Before choosing Ambia windows and doors I consulted with four vendors. I chose Ambia simply because they were the most professional, responsive and asked the most questions taking a sincere interest in my plans and requirements. They worked within the budget and started the work when they said they would. I Want to sincerely thank Shay and Tony for the incredible service I received from both of them from sales to installation and quality of product. It was a pleasure working with you on this project and we will definitely be a returning customer on other projects. I already mention to Shay regarding a window to French Door conversion project. We are very happy with the finished product and Shay spent a solid eight hours with the installation ensuring it was to his exacting standards. It’s nice to deal with professionals who treat their customer projects like their own. Thank you again. I am confident the fit and finish will stand the test of time.

We all know these days its hard to find a reliable contractor, someone who takes pride in their work, is trustworthy and doesn't ask for an unreasonable deposit to finance other jobs they have committed too. In my many years of home ownership I have had my fair share of unscrupulous contractors. Ron from Crossgate will renew your faith in the industry. he started the job when he said he would and completed when he said he would within the budget we discussed. He cleaned up after himself and the workmanship looks excellent to me.

Not having a contact for a good electrician I googled and found Hi-Lite Electric. They were courteous, professional, on time and informative. However I can't give this company a good review because of their pricing structure. Just a call out is $79.00 pretty standard I would assume but the quote I got before even diagnosing the cost was excessive. My mistake here is I assumed price would be adjusted if the work wasn't that significant. Well the electrician just had to re-wire a GFCI outlet, literally took 5 minutes. the invoice at the end was astronomical. I am still in shock. Their pricing method just seems to be outragous. Yes I could have cancelled and called another electrician but that would have been another service call charge. I would recommend this company modify their pricing model.

Peter from AAA gate WildLife control provided exceptional service in taking care of my squirrel problem. He was professional, polite and patient and addressed my needs. There is a one year warrantee so if the little buggers come back I am confident will provide just as good after service.

I used Arnts to order 3 cubic yards of screening top soil and 60 rolls of sod to sod a 600 square foot area in my back yard. I found them reliable and the sod extremely high quality at $2.95 roll. Delivery charge was a little high but pretty much standard with anyone. They delivered what I asked for when i asked for it so I am very happy. You also get $25.00 back plus tax if you return the Palet which is great!

Last summer I discovered a hornets nest in my back yard the size of Casa Loma, having children and dogs I wanted it dealt with asap. Quick search on the internet and Pest911 were there the same afternoon and removed the nest in about 10 minutes. Fast, efficient what more can you ask. Will use them again.

I called Curbz in to complete our driveway after having to fire [competitor name removed--Ed] who ran away with over $10,000 of our money after failing to come through for us on the job they had been paid for. We were left stranded with no driveway just a demolished one. Curbz are experienced with the Stonelink product which isn't the easiest stone to work with and their team came in and saved the day. Not only that they completed the job in three days! AMAZING. Thanks to Curbz there was a happy ending to a horrific experience with a contractor that got in over their head. The finished product is fantastic and we are very pleased. There has been some movement in the stones and the gaps between the stones are a little larger than we in initially hoped but I can understand why it had to be done that way. I'm sure Curbz will correct any movement in the stones anyway so I'm not worried. Great team to work and Curbz showed complete pride and amazing work ethics. I will use them again without hesitation!

I called Water Works on Friday 23rd, 2010 in the morning after noticing a blockage in our basement main drain by the laundry. Having had some bad experiences with contractors in the past and loosing a lot of money I was a little apprehensive and distrusting to be honest. Michael was very responsive and showed up when he said. His team arrived when he said they would and worked diligently all day Saturday. Even though I have given water works a 10 I do have some constructive critism however. There was a language barrier with the team on site and myself which prevented me for getting an understanding of what was being done and why and it did cause some concerns and problems. Also part of the job included removal of an old laundry sink and re-plumbing in a new one @ $1422.07, I did end up stopping this part of the job as I thought this was rather excessive and my expectations were not met. My point being I think Michael should break down his price structure for each category of work so the customer can understand the exact cost of things, for example I would have never paid $300 to remove an old sink had I known. I ended up buying my own sink and plumbing it in myself. Having said all this I can see Michael takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. I think he shows great integrity, something rare in the contractor business hence why I will use him again and why I rated Water Works a ten. His prices are on the high side but he was willing to work with me a little bit on that. The bottom line I trust him and will use Water Works again.

This is a warning to others to not use Stone Works Canada. We hired them at the start of the year to replace our driveway and sidewalk with the lovely Stone-link product. We paid 10% deposit and $7500 for materials which they never purchase until they insisted on more money. After over a month from the start of the project they showed up 3 time for about 2 hours each visit, drank a lot of beer and just managed to remove the old driveway and lay a 3rd of an uneven sidewalk that has to be relayed by our new contractor. We eventually fired them for being unreliable, shoddy work and renagging on their contract agreement. Dealing with these contractors was a horrible experience and if we can save one family from going through what we went through with them I will be happy. Still to this day they owe us money and we are $10,800 out of pocket with no driveway. Terrible they should be ashamed of themselves. if I could rate them minus 10 I would! How can you rate incompetent crooks?
