We were in the process of finishing our basement but when we got to the bathroom area, realized the rough-in wasn't in the proper configuration for completion. Thom and Gord were the plumbers who reconfigured the drain and vent for us to complete our 3 piece bathroom. They were quick and completed the job within a few hours. They tested the lines to ensure there was no leakage before signing off on their work.

Store associate was very knowledgeable and helpful in aiding us in our decision for carpeting. We had just finished the basement in our new home and wanted carpeting. We were able to get in on their special promotion for free installation. The carpet we wanted had to be ordered as it was not a stock item. There was a limited amount of the carpet we wanted so the associate called the factory to reserve it so we would be assured to have enough. The installer also came to our house to ensure an accurate measurement was made of the area to be carpeted. The installer was prompt for our appointment and when they were done, had us walk through to ensure it was satisfactorily. As well, they asked if we wanted to keep the remnants or wanted them to take them for disposal for us. Prior to leaving, the installers cleaned and vaccuumed everything. We were so satisfied we recommended Lowe's installation services to my sister, who also hired them to carpet her basement.

We booked an appointment with Consumer's Choice through their mall kisok. We were contacted by the salesperson within days to set up a meeting to get estimate of the job we required. The salesperson was great, he was very knowledgeable and we were able to find what we wanted. Forward to the beginning of May, 2012, the installer was there to get a second (and more accurate) measurement and within 2 weeks he was back to install our enclosure. Perfect timing as within days of the installation, our weather was perfect for using the screen doors to allow the breeze to come into the house. I highly recommend this company for such improvements.

This place is a hidden gem of replacement parts. My dishwasher was only 3 years old when the top rack bracket broke down. The plastic rollers and various parts that go with it, after so many uses, finally cracked and broke. Reliable Parts personnel were very helpful and were able to find me a replacement part for the discontinued ones. Great place to find replacement parts and very knowledgeable personnel.

Great company and workman to deal with. There were about 4 homes, including mine, that required fencing in. As I own the corner lot, they had to remove the fence leading from the sidewalk into the backyards. Not only did they remove it carefully, but they replaced it with no indication that it was ever removed. They did a great job and were quick. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed fencing or deck work done.

There was water leaking from the ceiling of my family room. Joe the Plumber's office sent, on 2 separate occasions, 2 young and what we presumed to be, junior, plumbers to my home. They proceeded to make several holes in my family room ceiling in an effort to trace the leak. Before taking my entire family room ceiling down, I called them back and asked that they send a more senior plumber on site. They complied with my request and on their 3rd attendance, removed the drywall from my master bath (which is above family room), found the leak, fixed it and repaired my wall. Overall, they did a great job but only after I requested a more senior member of their staff be sent.

Saw a neighbour's front walkway, similar house to ours (corner lot) with a walkway from the front door, around a corner to the driveway and then along the driveway to the sidewalk. Laurie showed up at our house late in the evening, had samples of the brick, binder of previous jobs and addresses where we could actually see their work. Other places we contacted for estimates were double the price and weren't able to do the job right away. We wanted to be able to enjoy it, not get it done in time for the snow. New West's crew showed up and in 2 days, one of which rained, got the job done and we love it. In fact, we've recommended them to several people already.
