Sam and his team gutted and renovated 3 bathrooms and a powder room. We couldnt be happier with the results. The work was completed on time and on budget. Sam was very patient and knowledgeable; going out of his way to ensure the work was done right and as we wanted. Would highly recommend!

I contacted You Move Me to move my washer and dryer out of my mudroom and into a new basement laundry room after another company I had scheduled for the job didn’t turn up. I was in a time crunch since my plumber was leaving for vacation the next day and had already disconnected the appliances and I didn’t want to wait till he returned to do laundry!! Jimmy and Trimaine arrived promptly the next morning and effortlessly moved both appliances into the basement. The plumber was able to drop by that same day reconnecting the washer dryer. Vlad and Roman did a wonderful job in setting up our home theater for our basement renovation. They worked seamlessly with our other contractors and showed up on time to perform the pre-wiring for phase 1 of the project. Roman was able to run a cat 6 cable to our second floor making only one hole in our drywall. For phase 2 of the project Vlad and Roman installed/setup an in-ceiling screen, two TV's, a projector, 7 speakers with a subwoofer and receiver. The whole system looks and sounds amazing. I would recommend Integrity electronics without hesitation for your home theater system design and setup. Great job guys.

I contacted Absolute Home Services to paint two high staircase walls and the lintels of our windows in April (sorry for the late review). Ryan was the project manager and gave me a competitive detailed quote. Ray, the painter arrived promptly and completed the job as promised. No spills or stains; all surfaces were protected. Ryan followed up to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction, it was and I would be happy to use their services again.

Mandarin installed a Goodman multi stage furnace, cased coil, humidifier and 3 ton air conditioner on one of the hottest days in July. Brian and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and it couldn't have been a more comfortable experience. Brian was prompt in answering our many questions via email or phone. His team were respectful of our home, wearing booties and doing clean up. His price is half of all the other quotes I'd received and although I wasn't sure about Goodman, after reviewing their warranty and service I was comfortable going with Mandarin. Cool air distribution in the house has improved immensely and the AC unit is very quiet. Brian took care of registering the warranty for us and applying for rebates. Mandarin is a no frills company, advertising on Kijiji, committed to customer satisfaction. I'm very glad we called Brian.

We hired Pesticon to remove a paper wasp nest from a tree in our front yard. Iftikhar arrived promptly as scheduled and ensured our and our neighbors safety while removing the wasps nest. Iftikhar was very professional and I would highly recommend him.

As part of a laundry room and kitchen reno, Charlie was asked to do a number of repairs involving plumbing and other tasks. Charlie was always punctual and very professional at every visit. He never let me down in getting each task done when it needed doing so that I could easily coordinate his work with my kitchen installers. I would definitely recommend Charlie and consider him my go-to guy for all handyman jobs.

If the idea of tackling a kitchen reno is daunting, rest assured that with the team at Techno, you couldn't be in better hands! My kitchen is 11x13ft with an additional 7ft pantry and having already received a quote from another company, that I was happy with, I wasn't expecting to hear anything different from Frank when he arrived to give me a quote. I couldn't have been more wrong!! Frank (the owner of Techno) is not afraid to, respectfully, make his own suggestions - ones that not only saved me money but were aesthetically pleasing. He is very knowledgeable and has an eye for the details, his suggestions were invaluable. My husband and I were very impressed with his efficiency and subsequent prompt responses to all our numerous email questions that we decided to go ahead with Techno. Donna in the office, coordinated and communicated everything beautifully. Both Mikes were a pleasure to have in the house. Mike, who was the lead on the job, has an obvious passion for what he does and it really shows in the end results. My once sad builders kitchen now looks like it could be in a magazine!! The contractors recommended by Techno (AGOTiling and TorontoGranite) were brilliant. The only problem now is that I have such high expectations as what to expect during a reno, that I may never be happy with any other contractor again!!

As part of a kitchen\Laundry reno, I needed an electrical outlet and phone outlet relocated. I contacted several electricians, who weren't interested in such a small job (despite the contrary being advertised on their websites). Mike was the most prompt. He detailed exactly what options I had and the costs associated with them. He was professional, kept a tidy work space and I wouldn't hesitate in contacting him again for all my electrical needs.

I was very impressed with the service provided by Mark and his team. They were asked to install a gas range and replace the existing under cabinet 6" vent hood with a chimney hood that had a larger 8" vent. Mark is a perfectionist. He took his time to ensure the job was done right; no rushing off to fit another job in. He explained exactly what he was doing and why, patiently answering all my questions. The old vent hole was drywalled, insulated and capped. The Zephyr chimney hood installed perfectly level and centre on top of tile. The Thermador gas range was a free standing stove that if installed right would look like a slide-in and it does, thanks to Mark. They protected my counter and tile and cleaned up after they were done. While he was working, Mark noticed my newly installed dishwasher wasn't level with my counter and insisted on checking it. He discovered that the plumbing and electrical were incorrectly installed and promptly fixed them both, saving me costly repairs in the future. Even though the unscheduled repair took him more than an hour Mark volunteered a very reasonable discount on the dishwasher repair since, he said, I hadn't actually asked him to repair it! I’d received other quotes and Marks was very reasonable; he also doesn’t charge travel time to your home as some companies do (as high as $95 per trip for some!!). I would highly recommend Mark and his team.
