MetroAir was a dream to deal with from start to finish! Honestly, for anyone considering replacement or repair for any of the items they sell or service, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't call them first. Valerie was one of the most professional, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly people we have ever dealt with. She went above and beyond to ensure that the Air Conditioner we were choosing would meet our needs and she covered all of the details in advance of the replacement to ensure that the techs were completely prepared when they arrived. It was obvious to us that truly she cares about her customers and that she knew her stuff! Ironically she was the same person who helped us 14 years ago when we replaced our furnace - and she was just as wonderful back then. Our furnace, by the way, was one of the best purchases we've made, they sold us a very reliable unit and it's still running like a charm all these years later. Back to the AC...Gary, their Installation coordinator was amazing, he was able to thoughtfully coordinate our installation just before the big heat wave, we were incredibly grateful for this and so were our dogs!! On installation day their technicians Ted and Damon arrived on time, masks on and were extremely professional as they got started. Ted, (also the technician who installed our Furnace 14 years ago) is literally one of the best techs we have ever met and his co-worker Damon was fantastic as well. They were ridiculously meticulous about everything - Ted ensured that they protected both inside and outside of our house - they put drop cloths down on the path in our basement and they used the box from the AC unit to protect our grass as there is a bit of a hill and they may have torn it up with their constant back and forth. They thought of everything! The job that they did to replace our AC and install an APCO air purifier was absolute perfection. EVERYTHING was so neat and professionally done from start to finish and they even had to remove the pipes from our old AC unit in order to prepare for the new type of AC coolant so it was a big job and it was all done just beautifully. Looking at the furnace, the inside of our basement wall, the outside of our house and the new AC it is evident that the work was done by skilled people who care about their work. We are beyond thrilled. One of the best decisions we've ever made was to use MetroAir and we will refer them hands down to anyone who asks. Eric and his crew are absolutely fantastic and we could not be happier with the work they have done in pruning all of our trees. They are incredibly skilled, professional and personable. Not only do they have the knowledge to keep our vegetation healthy but they also have a natural aesthetic sense so when they are done our trees look spectacular, just absolutely perfect. We use them regularly to keep everything healthy and beautiful, we actually look forward to their visits. Best arborists around hands down!! Thank you Eric!!

We truly cannot express how thrilled we are with the HUGE job that Kurt and his awesome team did at our house this past summer. Right from the first phone call to Kurt last winter through to the completion of a month long project, Kurt was professional, approachable, informative, an absolute pleasure to deal with - not to mention that he is ridiculously hard working. Through multiple meetings with Kurt he worked with us to create what we had dreamt to be our perfect designs, both front and back. He suggested things that we would have completely regretted not doing, and he gently pushed when he felt we might be making a poor decision (we would have been kicking ourselves if we hadn't listened to him and done landscape lighting). With that said, he was always completely respectful and realized when we may not agree. We literally could not be happier with the results of our project which included complete front and back landscaping, stone work including stone porch, an interlock walkway and driveway, backyard set of gorgeous steps, walkway, gas fire pit, irrigation system and landscape lighting. We have no doubt that the workmanship will last for many, many years but we also have great comfort knowing that if something were to need adjustment, Kurt would be here as soon as possible to make it right. Kurt was a master at making changes on the fly whether it be adjusting our plan or adding in things that we hadn't thought of in advance (like a row of cedars that were planted before we even knew they'd arrived). Normally having a group of guys around daily for 4 weeks could prove to be overwhelming, however these guys were an absolute pleasure. They were respectful, friendly, and like Kurt, incredibly hard working. We could not imagine having used anyone else for this project. Anyone considering landscape work should absolutely give Kurt a call, we highly recommend Distinctive Designs Landscaping and we would use them again in a heart beat! Thanks Kurt and Team!!

Elias was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. We needed some exterior painting done with some high trim work so we were looking for someone who could comfortably do the job. He came out and gave a fair quote right away and he assured us that he would not have an issue with the height. When booking, he accommodated our schedules and even rescheduled when we had an unexpected bird nest built where they would be working. As far as quality of work and attention to detail go, we could not have asked for a better team. Elias and Max were fantastic, they sanded and prepared the surfaces, painted and caulked. The entire time they were careful and focused. We are thrilled with our choice to use Brock Painting and Contracting for this job and will definitely refer them as well as use them for any future painting projects.

We contacted Yaron at Solid Eavestrough back in the fall to schedule the replacement of all of the aluminum on our house for this spring. Yaron came to quote very quickly, kept in touch over the winter by answering any questions that we had and scheduled a start date that worked with our timing. Yaron is one of the most honest and respectable contractors that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with. He truly cares about his customers and his crew and he keeps his word. On the day our work was to begin, Yaron's crew arrived on time, were pleasant and got started very quickly. Overall they were fantastic, they answered any questions that we had, were meticulous with their work and were amazing at cleaning up each day after they were done - and we had a HUGE mess from insulation in our old soffits that no one could have expected. Once the job was finished (and it was completed on time) Yaron came to look everything over and ensure that we were happy. I could continue saying more great tings about Yaron and his crew but I will suffice to say that we could not be more pleased with all of the work done on our house by his company. We would absolutely recommend Yaron and Solid Eavestrough to anyone who is looking for an honest, experienced, professional and caring group of people to do their aluminum work and we would absolutely use them again!!

We are extremely pleased with our choice to use M&M Professional Window Cleaners to clean the exterior windows of our house. Mike was professional and pleasant from first contact right through to end. He quoted fairly, was flexible with scheduling, let me know when he was on his way the day of our appointment and arrived on time. He was very well prepared, respectful of our house and property and did a fantastic job! We highly recommend M&M Professional Window Cleaners and will definitely be using them again for all of our window cleaning needs!

Eric is the most professional, knowledgeable and conscientious arborist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He came to quote shortly after my contacting him and gave a fair price for the work. Eric took the time to explain what needed to be done to each of the trees and shrubs in our yard and it was clear that he is using his knowledge to protect the health of the environment and that he truly loves his job. Eric and his team arrived right on schedule and finished the job within the time indicated. I had mentioned that two trees in our yard were particularly special to us so he was very careful to keep our interests in mind as he was pruning, yet he still looked out for the needs of the trees. It was hard to believe how much material Eric removed from our yard while leaving every tree and bush looking completely natural! On top of a wonderful pruning job, they also cleaned up immaculately once they were finished. We prune our yard every two years and can honestly say that we have never had a better job done. We are very happy with our decision to use Brooklin Tree Care as we now have a talented arborist who shares our values. We will absolutely recommend Eric Batty and we will be using him again!

We are very happy with the work that Mark's team did for us in re-insulating our attic. When I called Mark he answered right away and booked an appointment for a quote. He arrived on time, was professional and very informative. Mark explained the differences in R-rating in insulation, pointing out how inefficient the insulation in our 18 year old home was, and quoted us on R60 with the addition of 25 vents for air flow. He was very accommodating and was able to book us in to have the work done before the holidays. Mark's team did an awesome job! His two employees arrived on time, were friendly, courteous and took care in cleaning up after they were done. We couldn't be happier with the job and we definitely recommend Envirotech Insulation.

We could not be happier with the work that Kari and his team put into building us the most perfect deck! Kari is an absolute pleasure to work with, he’s professional, thorough and accommodating. He took our verbal description of what we wanted and turned it into something better than we could have hoped for. Our deck is incredibly solid and care was put into finishing every detail and edge. To say that we are thrilled with our new roof and the experience that we had with The Cutting Edge Roofing would be an understatement. We were petrified at the idea of needing to have our relatively intricate, yet deteriorating roof replaced so we started the process of obtaining quotes. We had a number of reputable roofing companies come out to quote but after speaking with Tracie-Marie and meeting Robert from The Cutting Edge Roofing we knew we had found the company we would use. Tracie-Marie gave us a great feeling about the company right from our first conversation, she was informative and confident. Robert then came promptly after we called and he went right onto our roof, took pictures and emailed them to us to show us all that we could not see. No need for us to take his word about the state of our roof as with pictures we had the straight up facts. He was quite booked so we knew we would be waiting for a couple of months so Robert did a temporary repair to hold us over - he did not ask for a cent up front. Robert spoke highly about other roofing companies, something that stood out to us. He and Tracie-Marie reassured us that their crews had been with them a long time and were very experienced which also gave us a sense of comfort. IT was obvious that Robert was extremely experienced, he gave us options from a number of high quality shingle manufactures and he explained the differences in quality and warranty clearly. He helped us choose a shingle that would be best for our house. He was beyond patient as we took weeks to decide on the colour - he even came one evening and placed samples on our roof in order to help us decide. He is a natural in dealing with customers. The crew came the day they had promised and they were amazing!! Our biggest fear was that we would be unhappy once the work started but it was the exact opposite. They were awesome. They laid tarps down around our house to catch any debris and cleaned up as if they hadn't been there. They were polite, pleasant and ridiculously hard working - SAFELY!! We had neighbours stop to inquire about the company as they too were impressed with the care the crew was putting into cleaning up and into keeping themselves safe while on our roof. Robert's quote was lower than all the others we had been given and the product quality and workmanship was top notch. We recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing from start to finish. Thank you Robert and Tracie-Marie and crew for making this slightly overwhelming experience a surprisingly pleasant one!!

Will absolutely use again. We called Mors because of his high HomeStars rating and he completely lived up to what everyone has been saying. We called Sunday morning and he was at our house before noon. Our washing machine would not turn on so we feared the worst but Mors quoted his reasonable rate over the pone and he kept his word. He arrived when he said he would and we were pleased with his professional, courteous and knowledgeable demeanour. He took his time to trouble shoot the problem and he found a loose wire. He repaired the machine promptly and stayed to ensure it was working properly. We are completely satisfied with the service we received from Mors from beginning to end. As mentioned above we will use him again and recommend him highly to anyone looking for an honest, reliable appliance repair person.

We were thrilled with the professional, polite, efficient and reasonably priced service that we received from Rick and his team at AMPM Junk Removal. We live in Whitby and called them for removal of items at an apartment in Stouffville and Rick answered the phone on the first call (he answered every call I made thereafter as well) and he reassured me that he would take the drive to Stouffville to do the job. He was extremely accommodating and worked with our schedule when we were booking. He called the day before to confirm, arrived punctually and then proceeded empty an apartment of items needing disposal. I have to say that he and his team were so polite to us and to others who they passed while doing the job that we were completely impressed. On top of their respectfulness, they were fast, careful and priced very well. If you need to have items removed from your premises be sure to call AMPM Junk Removal, you'll be happy you did.

We are extremely pleased with our recent purchases from TorontoGranite.com. We visited their location in Mississauga because of their high ratings and we got to learn first hand why their customers are so happy. We were in need of a threshold for a bathroom shower and after Vlatko greeted us in the showroom, Mark helped us in the warehouse to find the perfect slab and then he had our piece cut precisely to the measurements we provided. Both men were polite, friendly and courteous. This great service encouraged us to purchase a counter top for a basement bar from them as well. Mark came out to our house to measure for this counter and once installed, it fit perfectly into its' space - it's gorgeous and we are thrilled! Overall their selection is amazing with huge, beautiful granite slabs to choose from as well as off cuts that are great for smaller projects. The folks working there are professional and helpful, their prices are fantastic and the installation crew was wonderful. Every one of my phone calls was answered and every email I sent was replied to promptly. All effort was made to accommodate our needs and the entire process from selection to installation was pleasant and easy. We will be updating bathroom and laundry counter tops in the near future and TorontoGranite.com is where we will shop.

We needed service on our water tank in December and Chris Shaw was sent to help. Chris arrived on time and was courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. The repair was done quickly and properly. Chris is a wonderful Advisor for Reliance. We have had him out twice since for tank replacement questions and he has been great, he has answered all of our questions and has offered suggestions based on his experience. We plan to replace our water tank and overall Reliance has been very easy to deal with. We are in need of a maintenance contract on our furnace and we plan to purchase one with Reliance because of the great service that we have received from Chris.
