Metro Air Home Comfort Solutions

To preface this review, I have been a customer of Metro Air for over a decade. They have since changed to pinnacle metro air.

I called to have my annual furnace maintenance. When the technician came I told him about a sound I didn't like. Paid the invoice.
When the sound came on again, video taped the sound and sent it to them. Emailed me back said it was a motor that needed replacing and it was under warranty, just pay for the labor 154gst I said fine no problem.
Technician came. 15 mins asked him where the motor was, he didn't have one he's going to diagnose the sound. Determines it was probably some tape that was loose and nothing more. Leaves extra tape and tells me that if the sound comes on again to look for some loose tape that may have been vibrating. Charges me $180. What? Really?
I sent an email to the service department and told them that it was absolutely ridiculous they charged me for that. Wasn't asking for a freebee. This was their response:
Hi,
Im sorry you feel that way. We cannot just change parts randomly.
My tech did a full inspection of your furnace and could not replicate
The noise. So as a Gas technician he did what he could to fix what he thought might be the issue.
That call would be chargeable regardless even if he did nothing.
And you are more then welcome to call any other provider. I will put
You on the do not service list. Sorry that our service was not satisfactory to your Standards.

This is why you lose customers. Poor customer service, subpar service.
Find a different company, this one doesn't care. The furnace does not work now. Have to call another company to fix it. The tech they sent was an absolute newbie and had no clue what he was doing. Stay far away from this company. No clue what they are doing

MetroAir was a dream to deal with from start to finish! Honestly, for anyone considering replacement or repair for any of the items they sell or service, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't call them first. Valerie was one of the most professional, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly people we have ever dealt with. She went above and beyond to ensure that the Air Conditioner we were choosing would meet our needs and she covered all of the details in advance of the replacement to ensure that the techs were completely prepared when they arrived. It was obvious to us that truly she cares about her customers and that she knew her stuff! Ironically she was the same person who helped us 14 years ago when we replaced our furnace - and she was just as wonderful back then. Our furnace, by the way, was one of the best purchases we've made, they sold us a very reliable unit and it's still running like a charm all these years later. Back to the AC...Gary, their Installation coordinator was amazing, he was able to thoughtfully coordinate our installation just before the big heat wave, we were incredibly grateful for this and so were our dogs!! On installation day their technicians Ted and Damon arrived on time, masks on and were extremely professional as they got started. Ted, (also the technician who installed our Furnace 14 years ago) is literally one of the best techs we have ever met and his co-worker Damon was fantastic as well. They were ridiculously meticulous about everything - Ted ensured that they protected both inside and outside of our house - they put drop cloths down on the path in our basement and they used the box from the AC unit to protect our grass as there is a bit of a hill and they may have torn it up with their constant back and forth. They thought of everything! The job that they did to replace our AC and install an APCO air purifier was absolute perfection. EVERYTHING was so neat and professionally done from start to finish and they even had to remove the pipes from our old AC unit in order to prepare for the new type of AC coolant so it was a big job and it was all done just beautifully. Looking at the furnace, the inside of our basement wall, the outside of our house and the new AC it is evident that the work was done by skilled people who care about their work. We are beyond thrilled. One of the best decisions we've ever made was to use MetroAir and we will refer them hands down to anyone who asks. Thank you Valerie, Gary, Ted and Damon and thank you MetroAir for employing such amazing people!

From Sales, Advice, and Installation Metro Air was very professional and attentive to what I needed. They took their time to explain the product and service, and answered all my questions. The installation was quick and clean, and in fact they rerouted a number of drainage lines in the furnace room, and touched up previous poor workmanship.
I would refer these guys in a second, and have done so on a number of occasions... they won't embarrass you and you won't regret the referral.

Excellent customer service, professional installation and responsive to all inquiries. highly recommend them. I had experienced their service at my previous home (furnace and air conditioning) and was impressed from day 1 and hence, this is the reason i reached out to them for new house.

We found “MetroAir Home Comfort Solutions” for our home project online. We felt the service to be very pleasant with friendly staff and pretty good finished product from “MetroAir Home Comfort Solutions”.

The previous homeowners had “MetroAir Home Comfort Solutions” work on the air condition and we continued to work with them on installing zoning and a new AC in our house. We found the quoting process to go by quite smoothly and we found “MetroAir” to be quite responsive when we did have any comments. We did have an emergency with our furnace at one time and tried to arrange with “MetroAir Home Comfort Solutions” to come and resolve the situation, however, they were not available to help. It would be appreciative if they could have had provided priority assistance to customers they have already worked for (we eventually went into a service contract with the company that was able to fix our furnace). In addition, it would have been nice to see “MetroAir” follow up on their finished project and make sure we were still satisfied with their work.

We were actually recommended “MetroAir Home Comfort Solutions” services from our neighbors who were pleased with their project. When it came to the quoting process we were pleased to see “MetroAir” stand by the quote and finish everything within our specifications.
