This is the second time my garage door stopped functioning in the last few months. Last time it was the guide wires. This time I thought it was the spring - turns out it was the actual garage door opener. The man who came was friendly and competent. He ferreted out the problem, showed me how he could tell and then set about replacing the (very) old unit with the new one. I also asked if he could change the metal latches on either side of the door bottom and replace the rubber along the base. He did both things and installed the new unit quickly and cleanly. When he was done, he showed me how to operate it. I was very impressed from start to finish. I have already recommended the company to a few people who've asked and will continue to do so. Thank you. What a relief!

I've had quite a bit of experience with people meeting my expectations over the years. I've had very few experiences of people going above and beyond. That is a rarity indeed. Greg - the person who provided the quote and did the work - was one of those people. Neat, efficient, professional, caring, responsive, detail-oriented and a talented painter to boot. I was extremely pleased with the job he did. I will recommend this company without hesitation in the future to anyone who asks - already have done to my neighbours.

This company was recommended to me by a trusted source. Dorian came over very quickly to assess the damage. Dana & Kaz worked quickly and efficiently to cut and remove a section of drywall & wet insulation from the ceiling. They set up a dehumidifier and air scrubber which they left running in my closed garage for 4 days to deal with the humidity and mould spores. They applied disinfectant, then a specialized mould wash followed by a final sealant. The process took just under a week. They were prompt & courteous. I would happily recommend their services.

5 years ago, I hired Don as my Home Inspector based on the recommendation of my real estate agent who had used his services for years and trusted his judgement implicitly. I was very impressed with the focused time he spent, his attention to detail, his ready answers to my many questions, and the itemized home inspection report he produced for me. Over the years, I have used that very document to make every one of the many upgrades I've made to my home. I recommend him unreservedly and will use his services again in the future.

Well that was a resoundingly brilliant outcome. From the get-go, Justin was prompt, thoughtful, realistic, helpful & proved skilled @ his craft. I had 5 contractors quote - apples to apples. Justin was the only one who made note of the tuckpointing & made recommendations when I pointed out the issue I was having with the paver stones at my front door. He had an opening, and so, arrived weeks earlier than originally intended, and I was already scheduled to be away that weekend. He said he really didn't need me around, & I got a very good feeling about Justin's abilities, so I let him be. I returned 2 days later to find the new limestone sills lining the 2 large front windows of my home - they look AWESOME!!!! He also did a fine job of lifting & relaying the landing pavers. They don't look great - but they never did. They ARE levelled, neat & safe - which is what I wanted & all I expected. I recommend this company & Justin in particular with complete confidence. I will hire them again - possibly sooner than later.

Ricardo arrived on time & with a smile; took a walk with me as I showed him what all needed done; listened while I prioritized what mattered most & then set about getting it all done, quickly, methodically, & efficiently. I'd been hesitant because I've not used HomeStars before and was unsure what to expect, although the reviews were the reason I called in the first place. I look forward to working with Ricardo again in the near future & recommend his services.
