I hired LD Decorating (Lee) to help with the renovations to my new home. Lee came highly recommended from a few of our friends and we were comfortable proceeding with Lee & his crew. Overall, I was satisfied with the reliability and professionalism that Lee & his crew demonstrated. However, the quality of the work just wasn't there which made the job quite stressful. For example, we had to get Lee's drywall finishers back 4 times to fix the same areas that weren't done properly the first time. Baseboards that were installed in the upstairs of the home were installed too low for carpet to go under and were not nailed to the walls properly the first time (second time they got it right, kinda). On the plus side, Lee's tile contractor did an amazing job with the floor tile. I was blown away at the quality of the installation. Having said that, at no point did Lee ever leave me hanging. If there was an issue, he came right away to correct the problem and did so without complaint. Again, he was a total professional. I always got the feeling that Lee was scheduling too many jobs at the same time which seemed to place a big rush on his crew to get the jobs done fast. My suggestion to them would be to slow down - if you just took a bit more time to do the jobs right the first time there wouldn't be a need to rush around and fix mistakes 2, 3 or even four times! My recommendation comes with an asterisk - make sure you can supervise LD's crew when they're doing the work so you don't run into issues down the road.

My wife and I bought new appliances for our kitchen - Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer & Dryer. Goeman's was recommended by friends of ours and they told us to deal with Ian Atherton. Ian is probably Goeman's best asset in terms of client service, product knowledge and attention to detail. Ian spent about 3 hours with us discussing our needs, types of things we would be using the appliances for as well as showing us all the appliances that matched our criteria. His product knowledge was astounding and was a big help in selecting our final appliances. Ian was able to put together a great package price, taking full advantage of each and every manufacturers rebates and incentives, as well as a store discount. I was very pleased with the pricing. Delivery was not an issue, either. They has told me they would arrive between 9 - 11 and arrived at my door at 9:10! The guys were very careful to bring the appliances in the house and all the products were the right ones. Overall, a very good experience with Goeman's. Make sure you speak with Ian!

I have known Tony for a few years now, as he's worked on other jobs for me in the past. He's worked on my furnace at my old house and he's installed a fireplace for me as well. I asked Tony to install my new gas appliances (stove, dryer) at the new house and to add a humidifier to the furnace system. Tony is a true pro. He's knowledgeable, courteous and reliable. He's always been right on with his estimates and he guarantees his work. I've never had any issues or complaints with his work and it is my pleasure to recommend him! Hope this helps.

We purchased our carpet from Burlington Wholesale Flooring because we've used them before, and we were very comfortable using them again. The carpet was for our upstairs bedrooms and all rooms were measured twice. In spite of that, they ordered the wrong amount of carpet, leaving our master bedroom closets and hallway without carpet! The only issue I have was with the installers - they were not very careful with the walls (numerous minor scratches on freshly painted walls) and a few complaints from the installation crew on how much work it is to install our carpets (don't complain to the customer). Overall, I would absolutely use this company again. Overall, I would absolutely Burlington Wholesale was very apologetic, and ordered the remaining carpet and installed it at no charge to us. I like a company that stands behind their work and they certainly did.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Bin There Dump That. Marc was very generous with his allowing me to keep the bin longer without charging any premiums. I had explained to Marc that I had wanted the bin for a bit longer than the normal time of a week as I had a few timing issues with some demo projects in the house. Marc said to keep the bin as long as needed to get the project done. I was also pleased with how prompt they were at delivering and retrieving the bins. Pricing seemed to be on par with all the other companies. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I hired Dale to paint our house and I am so glad I did. Dale does superb work! He pays attention to all the small details, things like filling in even the tiniest imperfections on a wall or baseboard. He is also a hard and dedicated professional, working 6 days a week to make sure the job got done right, and on time. Of all the contractors I've dealt with, Dale has been the best to work with by far. I highly recommend Dale for any painting project.
