From start to finish, a smooth renovation which saw all of our goals met. Eliezer is very calm and communicative, understood what we were looking for and delivered. In large scale renovations, there are always small bumps or issues, such as supplies, scheduling, etc. But the way these were handled by the crew meant that we never really had any concerns or were impacted in any way.

Jose contacted us immediately and put together a detailed quote the next day. We had been communicating with other companies as well and had an opportunity to compare multiple quotes. Jose's was the lowest and contained the most specific information. Once we decided to move forward with Building Ideas, the work was done within one week, and was top notch. Jose walked us through the completed project, and then asked us about our air conditioning unit. He calmly explained to us that we could keep our old unit, but since it was 30 years old, it made sense to have everything updated to keep the system efficient and also limit costs. There was absolutely no pressure, and he left the decision to us. Once we decided to upgrade the a/c unit, it was delivered the next day and installed. Jose was professional, communicative, informative and just plain nice. We would recommend him and Building Ideas to anyone in need of heating, a/c or ductwork.

We were recommended Viper Home Services and were instantly convinced upon our first meeting with Manny and his crew. They were punctual, professional, and honest about the work assessment. Once we decided to move forward, they began work immediately, keeping us informed of all steps in the process, helping us to understand if/when there were smarter options, such as installation of a sump pump. Their excavation and concrete skills are also top notch, making our basement look good as new and perfectly preparing it for subfloor installation. The price of the job was exactly as quoted, and competitive, but the real value came from working with a company that offers you trust, respect and communication. I would recommend and have recommended, as Manny and crew are starting work on a family member's basement as well.

He and the crew are always punctual (even early), efficient and understand the apprehension that homeowners may have about tackling older homes. I called a few companies to size up and provide and estimate for a garage door conversion on an old swing-mechanism door. Steve came out and was fully confident of what was necessary. When the Technician, Oleg, arrived for the job, it was 2 days before Christmas (all other companies were not working). Oleg worked his magic, putting together a steady and detailed conversion and explaining what he was doing along the way. The project was not rushed along nor were any shortcuts taken. Oleg was efficient and a true master of what he was doing. Today, the door fits and works perfectly, and I would recommend Door Master, and Oleg to anyone needing repair, maintenance or conversion.

We had a major plumbing emergency at our rental property. After calling on a weeknight at 9:30pm, Malik of New Canadian was at the property at 10:30pm, and had already assessed the situation by the time we got there. The job took 1.5 days. The cost did not supercede the estimate, and they took pictures, called us and explained everything along the way. Top notch professionalism and great service.
