Sloppy and rushed work. Did not even go into part of my yard. Now they say no refunds. Looks like I'm stuck with these jokers for the season. What a waste.

After hitting all the big box stores in search for a new electric range, I went to Tasco on Dufferin and was pleasantly surprised. They have a large selection and Andy, my salesperson, was able to show my two products that fit my criteria and which I had not seen anywhere else before. Andy was knowledgeable, helpful and professional. After coming home I checked around and saw the same product advertised for a lower price. I asked Andy if he could price match, which he did. Delivery went very smoothly and exactly on time. All in all, very good shopping experience. I will be coming back when I am ready to replace any other appliances.

We smelled gas and called Enbridge who came in and shut off the gas supply. Next call - to Dave at Reliable Home Comfort! He sent Jaime because of the difficult nature of repairing the leak. Jaime did a great job and fixed a couple of other things that he noticed as well. Thanks Jaime!

I recently got a new Goodman high efficiency furnace and Goodman AC installed by Dave and his team. After shopping around among the top rated HVAC contractors here on Homestars, Dave and his company stood out among the rest. He came out to give a quote on short notice, discussed with me at length the most suitable choice of equipment for my house, gave the most competitive quote, and worked hard to ensure I was happy with the installation. Being new to home ownership, I feel reassured by having the 10-year factory parts and labour warranty on the furnace and AC, which was included in the price. Equally important, I have a relationship with a contractor who I know I can trust and who will be there to do regular maintenance and be responsive when I need them.

David is an excellent contractor to work with. He gave us a very competitive quote and didn't charge extra for the little things like installing the baseboard or finding and purchasing a drain cover that would work with our floor drain. The laundry room is in the basement and has the furnace, washer/dryer and waterheater so there was extra work in tiling around the furnace and waterheater and hauling the washer and dryer in and out of the room. At every step of the way - giving us a competitive quote, managing the project with minimal disruption, quality of the final work product - David delivered. We couldn't be happier.

Ian was very responsive and did a very nice job. We didn't get a lot of other quotes, but believe the cost was competitive. A lot of the general contractors so highly rated on this site are not likely to even give a quote on small job like this. Even if you include other things like installing a tile floor and painting, which we were also looking to do, I honestly believe that you can get a better job at a lower cost by going for specialist contractors like Ian for each part of the job. We'll be sure to call Ian again if we need any other similar work.

We're very happy with our choice of Nuvo Garage. Rick took a lot of time to discuss the design and every detail at our first meeting. He was also great at managing the project and keeping us up to date at all times. The end result is excellent. Money well spent! Ps. If it's within your budget, I highly recommend getting a finished ceiling - it really adds to the overall look.
