I needed my outdoor faucet replaced but my local, standby plumber said that he couldnt do it. After calling Drain Works, Chris Leger examined the problem, offered me the options and then repaired the damage, replaced the faucet and was scrupulous in making the opening in the basement drywall as small as it could be. He also left a detailed, illustrated outline explaining how to turn the system off in the winter. Best plumbing service I have ever had.

Outstanding. Hire A Maid has been cleaning my home monthly for many years and they are wonderful people to work with. I always like my home best after Chelsie has cleaned it because she is scrupulous and has a better sense of where things should go like pillow placement than I do. Nothing escapes her attention. The office staff are friendly and very accommodating. And, the company pays its cleaners a living wage, which makes me happy.

All precautions are taken, Kira today wore a mask even when I was not in the room, and she used all the disinfectant cleaners I asked for, rather than my standard organic cleaners. Paul Soldano was remarkably efficient in diagnosing and fixing our problems. He explained everything that he did in language comprehensible to a non-electrician. He also did a complete check of all our electrical systems and made some useful recommendations. I feel that we have found “our” electrician for all future work.

My shower has slowly been losing its power when the hot water is turned on. Zahir arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. and diagnosed the issue, saying that, given what I told him, the problem was likely the cartridge. He cautioned that this was only a 60% likelihood. He then gave me my options. He was courteous, very efficient and explained the problem in detail that I, a non-plumber, could understand. I hope to have him back when we go forward with the repairs.

I have had a nephew and his girlfriend living in my basement for three years. They just moved out and the never-cleaned, 5-year-old carpet was dirty. Ivan was thorough and informative, leaving the carpet looking like it was brand new. Excellent service.

We had James as our service technician. He was superb! He asked if we wished to have our ac filter changed, which is something that no one has ever asked us (he changed it for us, and it was shockingly filthy). He also provided us with the correct size filter for our furnace. Remarkably, he came by the house the next day with two extra filters so that we are set for years! I would welcome him into our home again for any reason whatsoever. Thank you, Direct Energy for employing such competent and dedicated technicians.

Margarita made a special effort to get us unstained maple for our kitchen shutters when it was first not available. The drapes were exquisitely made. She answered all questions promptly and accommodated all requests graciously.
