After the snow melted, we found several shingles in our yard. Mr. RR came, replaced them, and checked our attic for leaks. $600 felt high, since they were here for just over an hour, and replaced about a dozen shingles, but I'm guessing that is normal for the industry. They then followed-up by a detailed email report on what to do next - with a $1200 estimate.
We hired LawnSavers not because of their good reviews, but because of their responses to any bad reviews. They seemed prepared to fix things when they went wrong. So far, we've been totally impressed with their knowledge and care of our lawn as well as their customer service. Our jungle now looks like a backyard.

After receiving a couple of quotes, we went with Eli @ Elite, who was recommended by two friends. He gave us a free estimate, then showed up on time and did the job quickly, leaving no mess and even carted away additional garbage we had on site. I'm surprised this is his first review as he is friend, easy to deal with - gave us the lowest quote, and seems to be heavily booked.
I had the almost exactly the same bad experience as many reviewers below. $285 charge and the unit is still broken. Only AFTER this happened did I find that they have an F rating with the BBB. If they are willing to fix the problem, I'll change my review. Until then, a 1/10 since the technician arrived on time and was friendly.
I used El Cheapo twice. The first time they were awesome -- two great movers, really helpful and fast. The second time was slow and stuff was broken/scratched -- so I guess it just depends on what guys they send.
