My roof was leaking and water would get into our master bathroom. We tried getting it fixed by another company, and sure enough, after the next storm, the bathroom was flooded. Finally decided to give these guys a call. They set up an appointment and came when they told me they would come. They took pictures, and fixed the leak, all within the hour they promised and the price they quoted. There have been 2-3 storms since then and the bathroom is as dry as can be! Thanks, should have called you guys in the first place! No hassles, no surprises with this company. Would recommend them to anyone with roofing issues.

My father in law got hardwood installed throughout his house (main floor and upstairs). Simon came in a timely manner, showed samples, and his team started the following week. After seeing their work, I was very impressed, and we decided to refinish our stairs. Refinishing stairs is a messy job, but his team made sure to cover and seal everything and they did a thorough job cleaning up after. We are very happy with our stairs... we got new white spindles and painted the risers and sides white, and stained the treads. They started and ended the project within 4 days. Looks like stairs out of a model home! And they matched the stain perfectly with our existing hardwood. Most importantly, Simon beat all of the quotations I had received! I would highly recommend the company.

I contacted Up Rite Fence because they were listed as one of the companies in the supplier's website, Nuvo Iron. Also, they gave me the least expensive quotation, and I called about 10-15 companies. I was very pleased from the beginning to the end. Laura came to my house, showed samples, made suggestions. As soon as the product was manufactured, in two weeks, they were back installing the fence. The workers were great. It's a family owned business and you can see how the son and husband who installed the fence take pride in their work. The faux wrought iron fence looks absolutely gorgeous. I've received so many compliments!

Ihsan Chughtai is the owner of the company. He called and confirmed our appointment before arriving. He came along with another worker and was on time. He took the time to explain how our furnace works and exactly what was going to be cleaned. They took care not to damage anything in the process. At the end, the price was exactly what we had agreed to over the phone, no hidden costs. Also, the price was the cheapest quote I got.

These movers were awesome! When I asked for a quote, after speaking over the phone, they sent me a quote via email. The day before moving, they called to confirm time, etc. The day of the move couldn't have gone more smoothly. The movers were efficient, professional, and took great care not to damage anything. The price was very reasonable and there was no haggling or hidden costs at the end. Highly recommend these guys!

Kris and his colleague Pete are great! They are very clean, organized, and punctual. We got about 9 quotes for painting, and his was right in the middle in terms of price. I was a bit skeptical at first, because I hadn't hired anyone from Homestars before. However, after seeing his work, I am impressed. In addition to painting, we also asked him to make one of the room's ceiling smooth... and it looks brand new! And throughout the job, he has given honest and solid advice, whether it be the finish of the paint to the colour. And Kris is kind enough to offer help and advice with other little things around the house... he even fixed a tile on the floor! Would definitely recommend him.

Andrea is great to work with. She's professional, punctual, and worth every penny. We hired her on two occasions, for 2-3 hours each time. She assisted us with paint colours, choosing finishes and furniture, furniture placement, and gave us great, inexpensive tips to instantly update our home. Our home definitely looks like it has the "designer touch." She also passes on her trade discounts to her customers. Will definitely use her again!
