I used Tempasure several times in the past and got great service so I didn’t hesitate to get them to inspect my furnace. As always, they were professional and timely with their communication. Accommodating with scheduling and the technician followed COVID safety process. I would contract them again and recommend to others.

After hearing noises in the attic, I looked around for a reputable company with positive reviews and narrowed my list to 3 companies. Gotcha Wildlife provided me with logical answers to all my questions and were fairly priced compared to the other 2 companies. They covered all possible entry points with metal mesh and added flashing around all exposed roof line. Ken was quick and accommodating with the job and a follow-up at my request. Needless to say the squirrels are gone and i am happy I found Gotcha Wildlife to help out with my issue.

I was in the market for a new whole home humidifier to install and be controlled by a smart thermostat. After much research I decided to call Tempasure and Len was very patient with my never ending questions. Finally we decided on a humidifier that would best work with my home and needs. Adam the tech was pleasant from start to end and took care to minimize any disruption from shoe covers to making sure every last piece was cleaned up. He was very educational and obviously qualified to be in his line of work. The job was done and it was done well with a constant open line of communication. I would use Tempasure again and recommend them to family and friends.

My older bungalow had only a few inches of insulation that looked very compacted. After an energy auditor came to inspect my home for an energy rebate, he recommended that i top up my attic insulation. Comfort Insulation (Insulation Home Services through Costco) came in and did the job very professionally, politely, and in a clean manner. Jesse & Travis knew what they were doing. I was very impressed by them and the process but was really happy that i had them as a team when the energy auditor came for the follow up inspection. The Auditor said he has been looking at homes for 15 years and this was the best job he has seen. He said the baffles were installed perfectly spaced and in the right locations, the height of the insulation meets code (+ a little more), the ruler installation and most importantly and most commonly not completed properly was the even and level laying of the insulation. Really happy with Jesse and Travis, you can tell they are experts at what they do and they do it well. Having a pro confirm my opinion made me compelled to give this rating. Good job boys, i hope your boss reads this!

My main drain which was the old clay pipes kept on backing up and after having a few plumbers come out and just cleaning out the drain or provide unreasonable solutions I called Dmitry. He had all the tools, cameras, and knowledge to know exactly what the problem was and how to resolve it. Tree roots kept clogging up the main drain and he offered a solution which wouldn't dig up my entire front yard. He also installed a backflow valve and 2 cleanouts (one in my basement and another right before the city drain). Dmitry informed me of a city rebate that I am eligible for and helped me with filling out the forms and I got a healthy amount of my cost rebated. In terms of the actual job, Dmitry and his team always arrived on time and left the site super clean which is not easy considering all the digging and dirt that was needed to install the valve in the basement. I am extremely happy with Dmitry, the crew, the job, and the overall experience which I cant say the same about all the other plumbers I had come in.

I had a backup in my main drain located in my basement after doing laundry. I called Priority plumbing and they gave me a 5-8 appointment and promised to call 30 mins before arrival. At 7:30 no one called so I called them and the message said they are closed and call back during business hours before 8 PM (it was 7:30). I called back the next day and was told another appointment has been made for 8-11 which was also missed. The third appointment was booked and to compensate me for my troubles, they offered to waive the $49 assessment fee. The 3rd appointment the plumber showed up on time and with a call beforehand as promised. Upon his arrival before doing any kind of inspection other then looking around, I was presented with a few options ranging from $800 to $8000. I was uncomfortable with agreeing to start any work without a camera inspection which was the reason I made the appointment in the first place. After hearing about 5 options including him trying to sell me "a beautiful toilet" he has in his truck for $800 which went up to $1,100 after he looked in his book, I requested to just do the job I booked him for which was snake and camera as advertised on the website and confirmed by the lady who took my appointments. He said he would do it but it would cost an additional $400 above what the website stated and what the booking lady confirmed. I was shocked and when i pointed out the site pricing he gave me the excuse that the price I was offered was for emergency cases where water backs up and after I told him my water did back up and showed him, he said I need a cleanout access and I showed him 2 of them and then he said he didn't want to open those cleanouts because its cast iron and instead, he would snake and camera via the toilet. I asked him how long it would take and said about half an hour. He wanted to charge me an additional $400 above the agreed price to take out a toilet that has 2 screws in the ground. I was so frustrated with all his sales tactics and bait and switch techniques I told him I no longer wanted his "services". I called another plumber who came out with in a few hours, opened the cleanout, snaked the main drain and pulled out a toy that the kids managed to flush down with a bunch of toilet paper caught up in it. The second plumber even inspected the entire drain with the camera to confirm all is well. The clog was located outside the house under my front lawn which had nothing to do with any of the $800-$8000 options that priority plumber gave me. He would have known that if he actually used the snake and/or camera. I was made to feel that my plumbing needs were not being addressed but rather just being used as a sales opportunity. Very frustrating experience and I'm really glad the $49 assessment fee was returned because paying that for the kind of service (or lack of) would of added an extra bitter taste.

After extending our counters 6 inches out and getting a new sink and faucet we needed the drain extended but also wanted new pipes to replace the old Steele drains and new shutoff valves. I called Vlad and set up an appointment for the next business day. Alex came out and was a little professional with putting on dry clean shoes before coming in. There was a slight issue with the counter install and how the faucet sits but Alex was able to find a solution and didn't charge me extra and kept the promised quote the same as discussed. The price was fair and less than the other top 4 homestars rated plumbing companies. Sink, faucet, pipes, and shut off valves newly installed and dishwasher connected and happy with everything. You can tell Alex knows his stuff.

After professionally installing new tiles, the tiler and myself went to Home Depot to pick out grout. Based on the HD reps recommendation, I picked "the Cadillac" of grout which is an epoxy (glue) grout not a cement one that needs sealing. The tiler never used the grout before and applied it as normal cement grout. Once dried, I had this shinny glare all over the tiles in blotches and specially around the edge of every tile where the epoxy grout was not removed properly. After many hours of research, I bought 3 different types of chemicals (thinner, paint remover and something else) and got on my hands and knees for hours and days with no success. I used homestars late at night to find tile and grout removers and called 2 guys and got the answering machine and left a message (they never called back) and then I called green and spotless where Alec picked up (late afternoon) and knew exactly what happened with my floor and how to fix it. In all honesty I was nervous about someone operating on my new porcelain tiles but he assured me his years in the industry that he had the solution for me. So we set an appointment and he came over on the weekend. From the start it was obvious he was an expert with his shoe covers and equipment. He told me if I wasn't happy with the results I wouldn't have to pay him and got to work. Within an hour my floor looked amazing and I couldn't believe he got all the glue off but didn't ruin my grout. Alec is super nice, super professional, and really knows his stuff and didn't try to use my desperation to get more money as he have a more than fair price. Highly recommend!

I purchased a dishwasher but had no free breakers. I called Kiya after receiving a very high estimate from another electrician that made me feel uneasy and was happy i did. Kiya gave me all my options and recommended the pony which happens to be a lower price option and I ended up saving half the cost of the other electrician. Kiya even discovered a grounding issue that he corrected free of charge. I am very happy with the service Kiya provided and would use him again and recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Sean is absolutely amazing and with no doubt the best electrician I could of hired to replace my main breaker box. I was in a time sensitive situation with power to the kitchen and furnace going in and out. I found Sean on homestar after being recommended by a co-worker. He came out to see my problem the same day I called him and even came on the weekend to restore the power to my home. Another electrician i called actually called me back after Sean completed the job! He was professional and it was obvious he knew what he was doing and him being a licensed master electrician for 12 years made me comfortable with him working on the main electrical feed to my house. I asked around about pricing and I sleep easy at night knowing I got the best quote without sacrificing quality of work, experience and all around professionalism. Sean is the best and I will be calling him back for pot light installation.
