Alex was able to diagnose the cause of a leak through photos and provided a quote over the phone. On the service date, he arrived on schedule and was very professional and personable. The work involved removing the old faucet and replacing it with a new one. He was efficient and showed excellent problem-solving skills as the positioning of my sink created a bit of a challenge with the installation of the new faucet. Alex was great with explaining the situation and patient in answering my questions. He found a solution in the end and the new faucet works well. I also appreciated his respect for my home...upon entering, he put on booties; and by the time he was done, he cleaned up the sink and cabinet areas well and took away the trash related to the installation. The final price came in as quoted, and I am extremely impressed and happy with the job that Alex did. Highly recommended!! Thank you Alex!

We weren't sure if our old furnace and A/C would last another season, so after much research, we contacted Cozy World and we're so happy we did! Fred spent an hour with us discussing the current set up and ways to improve the hookups so that the pipes and ducting would look neater and take up less space. He also patiently went over our equipment options and pricing. We decided on the top-end Lennox furnace, A/C, thermostat & humidifier so the whole HVAC system would work together seamlessly. On the installation date, Kam and Sina, who were so friendly and polite, did an amazing job paying great attention to details in every aspect...including laying down floor covering the entire way from the front door to the furnace room, as well as doing a very neat and professional installation which even satisfied my husband's very high standards. One minor glitch happened at the end of the day when the thermostat fried itself upon hook-up which was likely caused by a defective unit. Fred came immediately with a replacement thermostat and the second one works perfectly. We were very impressed by how quickly Fred, Kam and Sina addressed the issue, and before we knew it, everything was cleaned up immaculately. We also appreciated Fred's communications to ensure we were happy with the installation job, and his speedy submissions for warranty registrations and for rebates on our behalf. As far as we're concerned, our experience with Cozy World has been as ideal as could be. We’re so happy that we chose The Cutting Edge Roofing to replace our shingles. The entire experience was outstanding from obtaining the quote (including photos of the condition of our roof) from Robert to the follow-up customer service from Tracie-Marie. We were impressed from talking to Robert by his extensive knowledge regarding the business as well as his unwavering dedication to the highest quality of workmanship and the importance of client satisfaction. Our roof is large and a bit complex, and it took a day and a half to complete the job. 7 crew members showed up led by the site supervisor, Jimmy. On two of the hottest days of the summer, the whole crew worked continuously and tirelessly, putting in an 11-hour day on Day 1. At the end of each day, the clean-up work was excellent. It was very apparent how well they worked together as a team, and all of them were very friendly, polite and hardworking. We’d like to give a big shout-out to Jimmy in particular as he was just super nice to deal with during the whole project from start to finish. After the job was done, Jimmy emailed us many photos of the various stages of the re-shingling to give us peace of mind that everything that was supposed to be done was indeed done, and in fact, was accomplished extremely well and definitely to our satisfaction. A few weeks following the job, I called Tracie-Marie to inquire how I’d go about registering for warranty of the shingles, and to my surprise, she had already completed and filed the necessary forms with the manufacture and all I have to do is wait for the paperwork to come through the mail! Big thanks to Robert, Jimmy, Tracie-Marie and the whole crew for a great experience and a job very well done. Highly, highly recommended!!

After building a beautiful custom shed for us the year before, Stephan Braker was our first choice when it came time to replace our old builder deck with a 500 sq ft composite deck. He worked with us at every phase from the planning stage to the final city inspection. We greatly admired his work ethics, which typically stretched from morning to dusk, and he devoted his time continuously on our project till completion. The quality of his craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding and we're beyond thrilled with the end results. Our deck and shed are now over 2 and 3 years old respectively, and are as solid and beautiful as the day they were built. We chose Victory Locks after reading the great reviews on Homestars, and we were not disappointed. Tom and Tommy showed up the next day after my call and re-keyed the lock quickly. They were both super nice and personable, and dog-friendly, which my golden retriever really appreciated! I would highly recommend them.

When our very old furnace called it quits, Brian gave us great advice and recommended a good replacement that suits our needs. Shortly after, Eddy, who was very friendly and knowledgeable, came to the house and did a very thorough inspection and finalized the deal. The guys who came to install the furnace were nice and professional in their uniforms. We had a small operational issue after they left, but after getting in touch with Brian, the guys came back the same day, even though it was early evening, to fix the problem. We were impressed by the whole experience and would not hesitate to recommend them.
