The team from Turnbull completed repointing on our home 2 years ago, and we were and are very happy with the work they had done. When we needed more work done, this time in redoing some crumbling concrete stairs, and foundation parging, they were an easy choice. Clark and his team are great to work with, answering lots of our questions, working quickly and cleanly, and doing a great job. Wouldnt hesitate to continue having them work on our house and will continue to recommend them to others.

We had advanced plumbing in to determine a course of action for our plumbing, which was original to our 100+ year old home. George and Andrei were extremely thorough in their work, and took the time to really understand the issues with our drains. Every step of the way, George kept us informed as to what was happening, what could happen, and what they were working on. Always ready to answer my questions, of which there were a lot, George was a great source of knowledge and resources. In the end, we had advanced replace our old clay sewer pipe, install a back flow valve and sump pump, waterproof a troublesome room in our basement, install a new kitchen sink drain, and more. Ivan, Vasily, Andrei and George were all great, and we've already used them for more work and recommended them to others.

We had Turnbull repoint the brickwork on our home recently, and are very happy with the work that they did. From dealing with Ellen and Clarke, to the team of Brendan and Sherman who worked on our home, we are very happy with the choice and with the work that they did. They were quick to answer our questions, Brendan and Sherman worked cleanly, and an all around positive experience.

I've had Tony work on projects both residential and commercial for a period of more than five years. He's someone honest, reliable, and who does great work. I have already recommended him to family members, friends, and work colleagues, and will continue to do so. His pricing is always reasonable, and follow ups are always provided. It's hard to find a trusted HVAC contractor, but Tony certainly is that.

Alex and his crew re-wired our whole home in August when we purchased it. At that point, we hadn't taken down the basement ceiling, but did so recently. We found several electrical issues we (and they) could not have known about before. Alex and his crew came in, removed and replaced improper wiring, and re-located junction boxes. They did so quickly, on budget, and cleaned up afterwords. I'll continue to use, and recommend Maple Leaf for any electrical work we, or our friends and family may need.

We found thermo-bilt by accident, but are sure happy we did. Neil, our sales representative took the time to explain the difference between their windows and others available out there. We didn't think we'd be able to afford to replace all of our windows, but amazingly, the price they quoted us to do the whole house was great, and we decided to go ahead with it. The windows were fabricated to order, and installed within 3 weeks of our first meeting with Neil. The installers did a great job, spending 8 hours to replace our 10 windows. They took our old windows away, and did a great job of cleaning up after they were done also.

My wife and I recently purchased a home that was in need of some work. We hired Charlie and his crew after reading all of the great reviews on Homestars. Every one of the positive reviews here is well deserved. Charlie and his guys did a great job on the work they did for us. What we thought was going to be a fairly simple bathroom reno (removing a shower and installing a w/d) turned into a much bigger job when mold and other problems were discovered. Charlie handled it, took the time to explain to us what was going on, and did a great job. He also disconnected the downspouts from the foundation of our home, and converted an unused stairwell into a closet for us. We are very happy with the work he's done for us, and would certainly recommend him to family and friends.

This company doesn't have a great reputation on here, and I'm really not sure why. They did a great job of moving my wife and I from our previous apartment into our new home. They did ask for our credit card number up front when we booked, but that isn't an issue for me. The crew who showed up to move us took care of our belongings, packed and unpacked the truck properly and in a timely fashion, and never had a complaint about moving things out of our third floor walk up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks!

Our complaint isn't as much about the store as it is about the delivery staff and the customer service staff. My wife and I recently purchased a new mattress and box spring from Sleep Country Canada, and had it delivered. At the time we purchased our new bed, we were told that it'd be possible to have them take away our old bed. Apparently they'll only do so if it's in pristine condition, and if that was the case, why would we replace it? The delivery staff was extremely rude, arrogant and unpleasant to deal with. Ultimately, they left our mattress on the front porch and took off while I was hauling our old bed out the back door. They then proceeded to say I had asked them to leave it downstairs. Customer service staff were equally rude and unhelpful. Never buy anything from here if you'd like to have a good experience. I know I won't be spending a dime with them again.

When my wife and I purchased our home, we knew we had to have major electrical work done on it. We had several electricians come to our home to give us a quote on the work. Alex arrived on time (early actually), was very knowledgeable, and while other contractors said major demo work would be needed to do the job, Alex was able to do it with minimal damage. Alex, Avi, Petr, and the whole crew who were on the house spent 5 days working on the home, upgrading the power service to 100 amp, removing the knob and tube, re-wiring the whole home, and adding additional electrical service to it. We were very impressed with how quickly they worked, and the quality of the work they did. It was a major job, and they finished it on time, on budget, and properly. Everything about our experience with MapleLeaf was very positive, and I'll definitely use them again, as well as recommend them to family and friends.
