I hired dc shutters (diamond custom shutters) 20 years ago to to my loft - it was a huge installation (6feet high, 35 feet across) and they installed all the shutters with beautiful precision. I was happy to see them still in business and hired them to do 7 windows in my new house. Their quality workmanship and professional attitude are alive and well. Wholeheartedly recommend them for any custom shutter project

The team at Classic Fireplace was very knowledgeable with respect to their product knowledge. We bought 2 Napoleon Prestige Pro barbecues from them in the last 2 years - in both cases they accommodated special requests regarding delivery and installation, without any hesitation.

Mags as very quick to take a 50% deposit - but then was quite challenging to get to commit to a date for templating, fabrication and delivery. He finally did produce the countertops and deliver them on the DAY that he was travelling to europe. He showed up in the morning of his trip unprepared, with only one guy to help install plus my contractors. By noon, Magnus had to leave and go to the airport -- he ACTUALLY LEFT the rest of the installation to MY TEAM to drive out to Oakville, and help load a truck, and spend the rest of the day doing everything we could to finish the installation. After a few weeks, a few bubbles surfaced in the countertop finish where water can get past the sealer and wet the concrete underneath. Magnus has not provided any after sales service whatsoever, I have not even spoken to him about compensating me for paying a separate team to install his countertops. In general Magnus does not return calls, does not show up when agreed, and it one of the most unreliable people I have ever dealt with.

I called Tip Top Trough to provide an estimate on eavestrough cleaning and leaf screen installation. Pierce came and provided an estimate which I accepted. We arranged to have the work done but something came up and I had to put the job on hold. Pierce was professional about the situation and when we were ready to start, he fit us in without too long of a wait. Because I have copper eavestrough on part of my house, Tip Top Trough clearly explained the requirements for the leaf screen and the difference between the aluminum and steel types (which is what any good contractor will take the time to do) Since the job was complete we have had no issues with our eavestrough and the new leaf screen on the copper looks great! Highly recommend them to anyone who wants a real contractor to work with!

Laird & Son's reps are all very knowledgeable and they just get the job done with a level of competence that gives a homeowner peace of mind. Yes you can get cheaper quotes, but Laird & Son only uses high quality products, and never cuts corners in installation.

I have personally used Absolute Draining and Plumbing at 5 different properties over the last 10 years (3 that I lived in myself), and have always found Vlad to be exceedingly polite, the price quotations to be fair, and their advice to be good. I have never had them recommend any work that was not needed, and their crews always showed up on time and worked as fast as they could to get the job completed. They also always know the latest grants available from the city and help prepare the applications. All told, they are top notch and I recommend them happily. I would recommend EVERYONE to always get their drains inspected with a camera every time they purchase a new home.
