I noticed that one of our roof vents was in the yard (rather than on the roof where it should have been!) Since rain was in the forecast, I wanted to move quickly to get a new one installed. Peter responded to my Homestars posting within a hour or two of my having posted it (on a Sunday) and showed up promptly on Monday. We appreciated his honesty in letting us know that only the vent that fell off needed to be replaced and that the others were still ok. He noticed that the nails that were holding down the flashing around our chimneys were rusted and suggested putting a sealant on them. We're really happy with Peter's responsiveness and his work ethic. Will definitely call him again if we have any roofing work to be done. Very satisfied!

After cleaning up a mess for the third time from birds that flew down our fireplace chimney we decided that we needed to get someone to add a screen to the chimney so it wouldnt happen again. Swat Wildlife responded quickly to our homestars request, quoted what we thought was a reasonable cost, and within a day Rob came and took care of our problem. Very happy with the speed of response and service. Would recommend this company

Unfortunately our foundation started to leak water into our finished basement when we had a quick melt and rain a week or so ago. Omar at Mystic called me back and came by the same day that I posted my service request on Homestars. Mystic's quote was competitive and Omar and his crew were here the following week as promised. The crew worked quickly and tidied up reasonably well after they were done. Hope I do not have any other leaks, but if I do I will call Mystic.

The heat exchanger on my 15+ year old Ruud furnace was leaking water and needed to be replaced. Rodina at Spring Home ran interference with a Ruud distributor, ordered the required part and arranged for Spring Home's technicians to do the replacement work. Amir and his helper were polite, tidy, respectful (as in masked) and efficient workers and managed to do the repair in a reasonable number of hours. I am very satisfied with Spring Home and will call them if I ever need any other HVAC servicing. Highly recommended.

Hasim responded quickly to my service request posted on HomeStars and showed up shortly thereafter to quote on repairing the wobbly/rotted posts holding up my fence. His quote seemed fair, and based on positive reviews I engaged him to do the work. His crew showed up exactly when Hasim said they would and worked quickly and got the job done exactly as he had promised. Even more - the crew replaced some weathered components without having to be asked. His crew was friendly and courteous and did a great job. Some gates also needed to be repaired and Hasim did that at no extra cost. I am a very satisfied customer and have no hesitation in recommending Decked Out to anyone who needs a new fence or to have parts of their fence repaired.
