OVC did the following work for us: raised kitchen ceiling, new hardwood throughout home, added extra bedroom on second floor, added entire third floor, renovated one bathroom and created a new master bathroom ensuite. They came in on time (7 months) and on budget and their skilled tradesmen are fantastic (particularly the paint guy, hardwood guy, tile guy, trim guy, and drywall guys). Angel is easy to work with and has a good sense of humour. When we needed him to talk to our neighbours about upcoming work, he was able to do that no problem. He helped us find solutions for some tricky issues and questions. The rest of his team are also good to work with. They were able to recommend other vendors for specific needs (like the windows). Our contract with them includes them coming back a few months after the project is completed to do touch ups. We are happy with the project and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Our contractor recommended Michael Correia of Correia Windows and Doors. We are doing a large renovation/build and required three very large windows with awnings, and three very skinny and long windows. We were impressed with his great ideas, his enthusiasm, and that he was willing to work with us to fit a bigger window into one of our rooms (we needed a window that would open, and he was able to make this happen even though the window is very skinny). He helped us with great suggestions in terms of size and style of the windows. He was able to deliver promptly and the installation was smooth. He also communicated with our contractors re: some key details so that the installation went perfectly. We were very impressed and thought the cost was reasonable. He is ahead of the curve and uses European design and quality which is of a higher standard than commonly-used products in Canada. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and we will be coming back to him for a new front door when we are ready. Thanks Michael!

We use Air Plus for many tasks including duct cleaning, furnace/AC cleaning (furnace cleaning is ~$100), and they also provided and installed new AC for us. We have always been 100% satisfied with the service. A couple of times, the fix was simple and they didn't even charge us for the visit. As an added bonus, they are all very polite and they even call to remind us when we are due for cleaning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for all HVAC needs. We will definitely be calling them again to install our next furnace (we will need one very soon). Thanks Air Plus!

We had a custom kitchen built and the pantry storage was awful. Peter came in and re-did the interiors for us, more than doubling our storage space. AMAZING! We love them.

We had Rey design and install a kitchen several years ago. Rey recently made a return trip to our home to repair some hinges that had broken. While there, he made some other touch ups to ensure that we continue to be happy with our kitchen. For example, we decided to eliminate a coat closet and he was happy to install two shelves in that closet to make it into a pantry for us. We were quite pleased with his work and more importantly, it is good to know that he will always return if we need him to. Rey made these repairs and touch ups free of charge. My gas dryer broke down in the middle of a messy renovation. I called Joe in the morning, he was here by 3 pm even though Monday is his busiest day. Unfortunately the news was not good, but I wanted to comment anyway. Joe was a pleasure to deal with, polite, knowledgeable, apologetic for the bad news...he made an extra effort to do something else for me to make the installation of a new dryer easier. I appreciated his quick arrival (sense of urgency) and his efforts. Thanks Joe!!!

Love our new kitchen but had issues with the timing and minute details of the project. For example, the open shelves above the kitchen desk are off by 1/8" which drives me crazy (con) but is apparently "acceptable" in contractor-land! The quality and craftsmanship overall is high (pro). Rey needed heavy supervision to meet his promised timelines (con), and I had to ask several times that he come himself instead of sending his less-experienced workers (con). He was able to get us some deals on hardware and extras (pro), but he didn't tell me in advance the the hardware I chose would not quite fit (size-wise) his shaker design (con). His granite guy turned our countertops around in 3 days (pro)!!!! He added an extra 'design feature' to the desk which I loathe and which has nothing to do with shaker style (con). If you have time to watch over every detail, he does nice work. His wife Carmen is awesome and makes every effort to keep the customer happy.
