As always Max is my go to guy for any furnace/AC issues (he installed our current furnace). We had water leaking from the furnace when the AC was on so I called Max and told him our situation. He said he would be able to come by next day in the morning. Upon arriving it was determined that the drain lines were clogged with debris/sediment. He was able to clear it and get the furnace/AC back in working order. We also needed a check up on the furnace to make sure it was in good order for when winter comes. Max answered our questions and did a great job as usual.

Long over due review but about 6 months ago our powder room toilet started leaking at the base into the laundry room. It was late in the day on Friday and I asked my friends if they had any preferable plumbers they would recommend. One suggested Award Plus as their friend had used them and were happy with the service. I did a quick search and read the great reviews so I phoned them. Alex promptly answered and said he would be able to come the following day at a scheduled time. The next day came and he was able to come earlier than planned which was great. The overall experience and workmanship was top notch. Alex explained what he was doing and answered all the questions we had. He even suggested changing out the toilet shutoff valve (which I wanted to do anyways). Fast forward 5 month later, our tub/shower faucet handle developed a leak and at the same time we wanted to have our main toilet shutoff replaced. Again I called Award Plus and Alex responded quickly via text and followed up with a phone call to get more information. An appointment was scheduled the next day and Will showed up early to perform the tasks. As like Alex, Will is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The work again was top notch. These guys are great and both are very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing work to be done.

Contacted Max for two services. One was for my mother whose furnace was making a noise when the heat was turned on and the other was ours for the annual maintenance. He was able to do both a few days later. Max was, as usual, very accommodating and did a great job. Diagnosed my mother's furnace issue and gave options. As always would recommend Max / Aire MAx.

We are a repeat customer (Max had installed a new furnace) and contacted Max to have our annual maintenance for the furnace. Response was ok but he accommodated our requested date/time. He arrived as stated in our conversation. Service was quick and thorough and he answered any questions we had. Will be using Max for our heating and cooling needs.

Our AC stopped working on the first heatwave of the summer and it was a Friday afternoon. We called around on Saturday to have a tech come diagnose the problem. Some wouldn't be able to come out until Monday/Tuesday and would charge minimum $150 for the service call. We looked on Homestars and Aire Max had very positive reviews. So we called and Max said he would be over within 2 or so hours and the service call would be $90. Fantastic!!! Max was able to conclude that the blower was not communicating properly with the system and said it was the control board which needed to be replaced. Cost was around $700-$800. Since he could not guarantee that it would not happen again, because our make/model of furnace was not reliable, he recommended replacing it even though it was only 6yrs old. So we decided to do just that. Max was able to come the next day (Sunday) with the new unit and install it. Wow!!! Who does that on a Sunday???? Max was able to install it in about 5hrs but there was an issue with the electrical switch that powers the unit. He recommended an associate who would be able to fix it and would come back to finish the job afterwards. He was able to temporarily make the AC work (what a relief). A week past and Max was back finishing the install and everything worked perfectly. The new furnace seemed more efficient in cooling our upper level floor than the old unit. During the installation of the new unit Max had suggested we replace the humidifier since the old one was not wired properly and not sized properly. We told him we would think about it and contact him when we've decided. Within a weeks time Max was back installing the new humidifier. With all that has gone on within the 3 weeks Max has been very accommodating , very professional, friendly and courteous. His pricing was fair and service was nothing short of fantastic. We would highly recommend Max to anyone looking for any type of heating/cooling service.

My wife and I just moved in to our first house back in 2011 and immediately did some renovations. With all the dust and debris from the reno and not knowing when the previous owner had the ducts cleaned we decided to email Paul to schedule an appointment. After some back and forth emails we had decided on a whole system cleaning of the ducts. A few weeks later Paul arrived on time to start the job. He first did an inspection of the ducts and to our surprise he said we didn't need to clean them and to call back in a coupe of years. He did though spray a disinfectant in the ducts to remove any mould or fungi and only charged us $25. He also took away the humidifier filter to replace since it was a unique one and didn't have one on hand at the moment. He came back a week later with a new filter and charged only $25. We would definitely recommend Paul to family and friends.

My wife and I had just moved into our first house in 2011 and wanted to get the hardwood floors refinished as they were pretty beat up. We researched a lot of companies but decided on AFS due to the numerous positive reviews here and awards. We met with Lehel at the store to discuss our options and the type of finish we wanted. He was very patient with us in answering all of our questions. An appointment was setup so Lehel could take some measurements of the floor and provide us with a quote but it was a little inconvenient for him but he made an exception to accommodate us. Approximately a week and a half later Lehel's crew showed up to start the job. They were friendly and answered any questions we had. The job was pretty quick and they were done within a few days and the floors looked great. Thanks for a job well done and we would recommend your business to friends or family looking to do any floor work.
