Oni was very pleasant, professional, on time, and delivered his service promptly. He replaced our washroom sink P-trap and improved the washing machine drain-pipe configuration. Excellent work at a very reasonable price.

Quality of windows installed Is excellent. Demeanour of installation crew was friendly. Installation supervisor was courteous and professional. Some minor nicks and scrapes damage occurred during installation, easily fixed through homeowner repair. Some broken glass of an old window and an empty caulking tube were left on site. Positive aspects of this installation definitely outweighed the negative.

The owner of this company provided me inaccurate drawings for my project. This inaccuracy cost me significant extra time and cost in dealing with the Toronto City Inspector involved. What I found to be very disappointing was that my final bill from the company did not acknowledge this error through some type of discount. The final bill was not reduced by even one dollar.

Darrell was very helpful in explaining necessary knowledge and providing his service for controlling mice/rats in my outside garage structure, which is separate from my house. I’ve used motion cameras to observe that his bait stations are in fact working.

I cannot say enough about how much Matt of InFinity Decks surpassed my expectations, which were initially high based on all the good reviews I had read about his service. For our two-tier deck approximately 600 ft.² in size Matt, without prompting, came up with several ideas that significantly added to the aesthetics and safety of the finished deck. We are extremely happy with our new deck which looks phenomenal.

Repairs had to be done to my roof because of improper nailing done by the previous roofing company. Nuno and Paulo of Luso Roofing did an excellent job and I am thoroughly satisfied. Beware of companies like my previous one who didn’t nail shingles properly and do what’s called “high-nailing“. This is nailing shingles above the proper point of each shingle. As a result, shingles fall out of place, causing water damage during rain.

Quality of people and the work was good. Tony Mancuso, the project manager, went the extra mile and solved a major, unrelated problem with a freezing kitchen sink pipe that had been plaguing us for years. The finished bathroom looks great and I would recommend Royal Home Improvements for any similar project. The only point of contention was the time it took to do the project. The project was started in June 2013 and finished in March 2014. A lot of this had to do with the major rainstorm that occurred in July 2013 which caused such widespread damage across the city. As a result the trades were very hard to book for jobs as they had to respond to emergency situations a lot more important than our bathroom. Notwithstanding this storm effect, this job still took far too long and Tony Mancuso gave us a satisfactory discount to compensate for this. My advice to anyone concerned about timing is to build in penalties in the contract for every week late and a bonus for every week early. In our case we were lucky enough to get a satisfactory discount that reflected the integrity of Royal Home Improvements.

Anthony provided very useful information after inspecting drainage and plumbing system. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and easy to deal. I received extremely useful insights about our current plumbing systems and improvements needed.
