It was a pleasure to deal with Miguel on this job involving the installation of soffit, fascia and other trim to a section of the roof. He provided good advice beforehand, the job started on time as promised and was completed expeditiously. Miguel and his partner did a neat, solid job. Price was reasonable. I would certainly recommend M&M for any roof-related aluminum work.

Ontree's quote was the most reasonable and they also used the product that we wanted, after the research we did on EAB treatments. They treated the tree and we were happy with their work and professionalism.

Muhammad came to check for bed bugs. He did not find any. He checked the bed but it was hard to lift the bed board so we could not check there. He showed me the attractant traps and I wish I had bought some to see if any bedbugs were present. I still wonder. He is very prompt and informative.

We sought several quotes from renovation contractors for the work we wanted done to our 1960s bathroom: replace tub and tile surround, install vent fan, etc. Some contractors refused to do anything short of a complete demolition/rebuild of the entire room, while others provided unrealistic quotes that made us wonder if they understood the wrinkles involved. John of Avonlea K&B gave us a quote which seemed most in agreement with what we wanted done, and at a competitive price. Gabriel began the job on the appointed date (December 2012) and was finished in a week. He is a solid, careful worker. Disposal and clean up was excellent. A couple of minor issues arose which Avonlea addressed expeditiously and to our satisfaction. Altogether a very good experience.

After having visited several other tile stores without finding particularly inspiring floor tiles for our bathroom renovation, we spent about half an hour at the Tile Store and found a selection of porcelain tiles we liked and chose one of them. We were able to order the exact number of tiles we needed, so didn't have to spend extra buying only in box lots. The tiles were available a day or two later, all perfect and unblemished (unlike a previous experience with another store where we found that about 25% of the wall tiles we'd bought were broken). Also bought grout to match the tile colour and grout sealer from this store. Good advice and good service.

After I'd got several quotes from other roofers, Steve visited and provided a competitive quote along with explanations of what needed to be done which seemed to make more sense than what I'd heard from some of the other roofers. The scheduled date for the work had to be delayed by a few days owing to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, but I can't blame this on Steve! His crew seemed very competent and completed the job on time. Clean-up was meticulous. I've since been up on the roof and everthing seems in order. Great job!

At my request, Dan came around to take a look at our two large trees and provide an estimate. He spent some time explaining the various pruning options. I decided to go with Davey because Dan offered a clear proposal at a reasonable price. The work was done as scheduled, according to the agreement, and with appropriate care. All debris was cleaned up. I was very satisfied with Davey.
