We had our pantry and hall closet done by Brandon. He was amazing! So nice and professional. He ensued we were happy before leaving. We found a tiny chip in the wood and he came back and fixed it within 10 minutes with no dramas. Try to request him! Lifetime warranty on the units. I would recommend you putty and paint before they come so no fixes need to be made after.

Had Leuri close off an 'open-to-above' area with the addition of a floor. We also had some bulkheads and a window seat installed for running HVAC runs to the new room. Leuri & his time were extremely quick with their work and did an outstanding job. Always arrived when promised and completed the work on time and per agreed price. It's hard to find reliable trades people these days but between Rebuild the Plant (structural), our HVAC, plumber, Hardwood Installers/Drywallers - Leuri was by far the best. Very happy with his service and would recommend him to anyone doing any type of structural or carpentry work.

Installing the floor in the "open to above" area and creating a fifth bedroom was an amazing idea. You've added beauty, functionality and most importantly value to your home. We were glad to be a part of your project.

I bought a sectional leather sofa from here and the 5 year essential furniture protection fan. The leather is splitting already when we only had it for 2 years. The "furniture protection plan" doesn't cover this. We literally only use the sofa 1x a week and keep it clean and moisturize it with the special leather moisturizer. The lady at the store told me I need to do this weekly not every few months. I said that was ridiculous and she said I need to keep the dust off it and dust it every week. WHAT?! I've had a leather sofa before this for 30 years from Chesterfield shop and never had any issues. The foam in the seat is also really crap. I would never buy anything from here again and tell all my friends and family to avoid going here.

Ordered 4 leather kitchen chairs. They arrived 4 months after they were expected, but the manager gave us similar chairs to use in the meantime and delivered the new chairs himself due to the inconvenience. Chairs we received are great and have had them for 2 years now, no issues. I am very surprised at all the negative reviews....

Country Wide sales and decor center were pleasant experiences, but when it came to any fixes needing to be done to the house, forget it! They have gone though 5 people in the last 11 months to manage the handling of repair requests. None of who are competent or follow though. A bit of our roof over the driveway is not covered by the eavestrough, and before the winter we notified them this is going to be an issue. They said it was the design. All winter long I had to get the broom out and hit down the 3 foot icicles that hunt 20 feet up above the driveway. At the end of the winter, an icicle finally fell while I was backing out of the garage and dented my car. We told them about this and they said they could not anticipate ice. We live in Canada! What a joke! They say it was by design and will not do anything about it. I would NEVER buy a Country Wide home again or recommend it. They also fibbed about a fence put in incorrectly, saying that is how it was signed off by the town, but they couldn't give me the town contact because "they couldn't read the signature". I found the person within the town that deals with it and they sent me the papers showing that the fence was done incorrectly and now needs to be fixed after the grass and everything has been done.

We met with the people at Deluxe alarms when building a new house. Bav was very helpful and ensured we were able to find everything we wanted for our alarm system. The installation was very clean and they did not ruin our walls, unlike the one done in our old house by a different company. About 8 months after the system was put in, the alarm went off and the police dispatched. It was a false alarm so after talking to Deluxe alarms, they sent over Sergey (the nicest man ever) and adjusted the sensitivity of the motion detectors. They also dealt with the police dispatch charge so we would not have to pay. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Tom's inspection was very thorough and point out spaces within our home that were done really well and other areas that could be improved to prevent heat loss. At the end of the inspection we received a 45 page report with many pictures with both the original picture and infrared version of the picture. We would definitely use him again and recommend him.

I bought a leather sofa and recliner. The first recliner was broken when we got it home and unpacked it. We had to return it and they gave us a new one. Within a few months (4) that was broken (cannot use the side handle to close or open it. The plastic protective cover was sewed into the leather making it impossible to take off (believe me we tried!). The sofa has warn rips at the top (how we got it) but didn't notice it til a week later and they will not fix it. After using the sofa for 6 months the seat cushion is completely flat and cannot be re-stuffed cause it's doesn't come off. We also bought a glass coffee table from them but it has issues and after waiting for 4 weeks for someone to come look at it, they saw that we were right and it was impossible to assemble. They took it back and gave us a new one but that one had scratch marks all over it so we did not take it from the warehouse. I would not recommend buying ANYTHING from them. Everything we have from them now is junk and we only had them for 6 months. I should add that we only use the furniture 3-4 times a week and do not have children or pets to add to the wear on the furniture. Never again will I buy from them!

This is Jason and I am store manager in North York location. All story has two side and I would like to express our side of story.

1. We did perform the reasonable care in this case: Even though I can't locate the sales contract in our database and I can't find out whether this customer did purchase from us or not but according to the customer, we replaced furniture two times as soon as we received a complaint from a customer. I don't want to say we offer the best best customer service in the industry but at least I know we do take seriously on every single customer complaint. As a retail merchant between our supplier and our customer, we will do our best to make sure all customers will receive reasonable care.

2. Floor model sale and final sale: I do remember a particular customer who ordered similar items in our Scarborough location and I can't verify whether this review is from this customer but the fact for that case is the customer ordered a clearance sale which he agreed to take display model as is and he complained back to us after couple of months about scratches and we did offer him another floor model. Clearance sale means discount price and we don't have any profit margin to cover further customer service.

3. Usage of recliners: According to this review, the problem is from the arm or side of the reclining seats. Because our reclining chair's arms are attached to the seat which will recline with the seat and there are no supporting legs for the arms. IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR SEATING. If customer seats on the arms of the reclining seats, it will result in arm bend toward the seating area. If a customer complains to us for this issue after usage, for the first time, normally we will replace a new one or fix that one for free for the customer because we understand customer may not notice the arm is not designed for seating. But this is not a manufacture defeat issue and it is way it is designed. By replacing a recliner in this case can be a proof that we care about our customer and we want them to "win" to make them happy.

As member of management team, it is very sad to see someone is posting a bad review against us even though we are trying very hard to please all our customers. Furniture will have to be used and maintained a way it is designed. Recliner's arm is for supporting the arms not human weight. We can't control how people will use the furniture we sold but we will what we can to solve all possible problems.
