AA did a top notch job of repairing the concrete foundations on our 1950s era home. They replaced broken bricks in multiple locations, fixed many step cracks in the mortar between blocks, and fixed the mortar between blocks as required. The excellent crew also repaired the mortar between the red bricks in multiple locations around the house. In addition they fixed cracked mortar in the window sills and replaced one damaged sill block. By luck A&A were able to assign members of three teams to the job so all was completed in one day - although they had to work late ! The team were courteous and hardworking. The quality of the work was excellent.

Elegant Bathrooms did a superb job of renovating our basement bathroom. Patrick and his team transformed what had become a badly deteriorated and mould infested dungeon over many years of use. The design process was attentive to our needs, collaborative, and careful. Having the various products available to see and experience in one well equipped showroom was a big plus. As the job progressed, it turned out that some additional work was required that had not been in the original plan. Patrick kept us informed of developments, discussed options, and provided non-pressurized advice. The work crew, led by Roger, were friendly, considerate, and tidy. They worked carefully with great attention to detail. The finished bathroom, although it might have cost a bit more than we originally intended, exceeded our expectations. The quality of the finishing work is exceptional. The dungeon has become the best room in the house!

The seals of which went bad on a 30-year old casement window on one of our bedrooms. Nordik suggested a casement window that had two smaller casements on either side of a larger centre pane than was on the original window. This was a great suggestion that has transformed the room in terms of brightness and the ability to see the outside world. The staff that I dealt with were all courteous, friendly, and professional. The installation crew did a really nice job. We are at the three month stage and we still love the window!! The window is well constructed and easy to operate.

We are thoroughly pleased with A&A Masonry. The front steps on our 1950s house had deteriorated badly. There are seven large steps which curve up to the front porch, so the job was non-standard. Nigel from A&A came up with the idea of repairing and then refacing the steps with cut stone. Mike translated this idea into a really impressive solution. We could not have imagined how well the job would turn out. Mike and Quintin were a pleasure to have on-site. They worked hard, carefully, and with good humour. They also repaired a lot of damaged brickwork around the front porch. I can no longer tell where they made the repairs, it was done so well. Great ideas and quality work.

Doug solved our leaking basement where others had tried and failed. He assessed the situation, made a recommendation, and delivered on budget. The work done was neat and tidy. Nine months later after many heavy rainfalls, we have yet to see even a hint of water in the basement. Doug and workers are the real deal! Doug is a direct communicator: my type of person!

We replaced a 26 year old furnace and a 15 year old AC. The sales representative was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He considered our needs in light of the house age and size, which he carefully measured. We seleleted a Napoleon 9700 furnace and AC. The installation went well. The removal of the old and heavy furnace was a challenge that also went well, thanks to the installers. No mess, no damage, and highly courteous. The AC is working great. Before too long the furnace will get its workout. We are more than pleased with our experience and highly recommend Canadian heating and air.
