I had an issue with a smell coming from my main drain in the basement, and after some investigation it looked like the cast iron had rusted open. I found Tornado plumbers on homestars, and after calling them, they were available to come by right away. They were very transparent with their prices, which are very good, and they were able to provide an initial quote based on pics I sent them of the area before they even came in. After coming over, Sergey and Bogdan observed the area, and with a camera tool were able to directly show me how much of the pipe should be replaced (approx 13 feet), and were able to start the job right away. They removed and replaced the pipe, half of which was in the ground all within one day. There was absolutely no mess afterwords, and the job was done seamlessly and with next to no disruption to my whole family which was in the house during the procedure. Sergey showed me the entire job using a scope camera once it was done and made sure I was happy with the job. I would definately use tornado again, and would definately recommend them. They are very personable, and extremely professional. Great job.

I contacted Toronto Comfort Zone after having been given a run around by another provider that said my gas-line install was too complex. I had to reroute a previous gas-line which was going through a bedroom to get to the fireplace (old Toronto home), and wanted it to instead be routed through the basement. Sonny reviewed the requirements and had no problem presenting a solution. After picking the fireplace, a beautiful Marquis with fluted backing and driftwood logs, Sonny had his technicians come by within a week of our initial meeting...I was in a rush because it had already gotten cold, but Sonny managed to fit me in even though October and November are peak seasons for installation. After the installers came by, they set everything up within a few hours, and by the end of the day I was sitting by a cozy flame. I will definitely use them again; great company, and great team. Throughout this, I had gotten to know Steve, as most people would because he's a very approachable guy, and can say without question that he holds his work and conduct to a very high standard. He's a master at his craft and a genuinely good individual, and would trust him with any project. I will definitely be using Steve again for work in my home, and would recommend him to anyone.
