I had a large piece of ice smash my eavestrough during the winter and needed it repaired. Top Hat Services did a quick and quality job when repairing it. The work was thorough and they had all the equipment necessary to do the job as quickly as possible. They mentioned that my eavestrough was relatively dirty, so they offered a cleaning service which I decided to invest in as well. They came and left really quickly, and I am quite happy with the service. They also offer many other services as they are pretty versatile when it comes to home services.

DeSerres is a fairly large store with an incredible selection. An absolutely great place to get supplies for a art student like myself. I found a ton of paper/supplies for my needs. The staff was excellent and very helpful, Definitely recommending this store to everyone!

Lee Valley specializes in the retail of tools and equipment to be used for home hardware and gardening. The store in the Nepean area is quite large! I was quite surprised on entering at the sheer size of the place. They are based right beside their main warehouse in the Ottawa region so the store itself is consistently fully stocked in supply. I went to buy a few different tools that I needed for future uses around the house. I have to say, the selection is top notch. There was a wide array of drills, screwdrivers, files, etc. I purchased for a few general items, like a drill and some bits for future woodworking needs. I also left with a rake and some gloves. The items themselves were top quality, it is fantastic to see a company like Lee Valley putting so much care into their items. The employees there were very passionate about woodworking and construction. It was hard for me to adequately describe the tools I was looking for, but the employees there knew exactly what I was talking about with just a vague description of the products I was asking for. I strongly recommend Lee Valley as both the quality of their goods and services are incredible. They deserve much more recognition than they currently have.

Catchy radio tunes aside, this retailer gave me quite a pleasant experience. I went in to buy bed sheets a few days ago and I was greeted with a cheery, yet professional employee. I had a few questions to ask about different materials, pricing, etc. And I was responded to with answers that were both well informed and polite. I was quite shocked at her wealth of information. The answers she gave were very practical, they will definitely stay with me for future shopping experiences. For a bed retailer, the selection is quite nice, the store is quite large and there were lots of items on display. My partner and I went to get a couple of bed sheets, yet we left with not only sheets, but new blankets and pillow covers as well! I really enjoyed my experience at the store, and I definitely plan on visiting again when I decide to invest in a new bed or bedding-related items.

EQ3 boasts a very unique take on furniture. Their style is very modernized and slick. Their selection of furniture is crazy, it's quite impressive. During my hunt for a good furniture retailer, I was recommended to this store by a coworker. I left with a very nice sofa, but they do have a good selection of furniture, with items such as lamps and desks. The Byward Market location had a few good employees with excellent customer service. My biggest problem with EQ3 is the price range. Their items are pretty expensive, but it makes sense considering the intrinsic and modern nature of the store. I would recommend EQ3 to individuals with lots of spare pocket change that are interested in a modern-style type of house. The store does not offer generic furniture, the items that it sells proposes a different take on the items of our everyday lives.

When moving into a new house, we were looking at a number of different furniture stores. After visiting other furniture retailers, we were pretty unsatisfied with the couch selections and deals. We decided to go somewhere that specialized in sofas and we don't regret visiting Sofa World. They had a large assortment of chairs from sofas to ottomans to recliners. My partner had found a few things that she really liked and the sales staff were great. My only gripe about sofa world is their selection. However, it is understandable that their selection wouldn't be too big considering that it isn't a big chain. Overall, I'd say my experience was pretty good. We found a few things that we liked and purchased and to top it off, we left without any problems. I hope that Sofa World sticks around!

I decided to go to the local blinds to go in Nepean when moving into my house. I did not run into any problems with this retailer. I opted to install the blinds myself to save a bit of money, however the retailers at this store were quite helpful. The selection was impeccable! The palettes had colors for blinds that I've never seen prior to going to blinds to go and the blinds that I had purchased were top notch. I am still using these blinds and they still work very well.

ADT is solid. That would be the single word I'd use to describe their services. The install was quick and painless, and I haven't run into a problem in the four years that I've had the security system. It works perfectly to this day when I activate and deactivate the away functions. I did test their response to a lasting alarm, and they called within a few minutes. I've yet to have any break-in issues so I suppose we'll see how quick their response team acts if it happens. Overall, I'm quite happy with the results. There have been no malfunctions and the system restarts correctly upon power failures. ADT is a solid service.

I decided to try Bedzzz after getting a hard time from employees at another local matress retailer. I have to say that Bedzzz's customer service is AMAZING! Most representatives at mattress retailers that I've come in contact with were uninformed and dull. The retailers at Bedzzz were actually enthusiastic about selling mattresses! Though I don't quite remember his name, an associate greeted me as soon as I entered the store and offered to help me instantly! He stayed with me the entire time I was in the store and described the strengths and weaknesses of every mattress! I said I had a bad back and he immediately knew which pillows and mattresses to give me. I was guided very well by an extremely wise employee. I ended up buying a mattress that day, and it is just as comfortable today as it was when I first bought it! I am very happy with this store. The products and customer service that Bedzzz had is top notch. A++, I definitely recommend this store to everyone in the Nepean area, I will definitely be buying another mattress from them again when the time comes.

I am extremely disappointed with Weedman, I had heard good things from them and decided to give them a shot, not only did their services make my lawn worse, but they had billed me after fertilizing my lawn when no one was home. We told them specifically not to come, yet they did so anyways and left the bill at the front door. Our lawn was CLEARLY in poor shape, and fertilizing would not do a thing without other maintenance beforehand, yet they went ahead and did it without our consent. I called in to inquire about it, but they said I had already scheduled for them to come, which I didn't. They also call and come periodically to check out the lawn and attempt to get us to buy extra services, saying that our lawn was in dire need of care. I also inquired about a grub problem we had in the front lawn previously, they answered with 'nothing we can do' and came back asking if we needed their services a few days later. Stay away from these guys, they are extremely unreliable. I would not recomment Weedman to anyone.

Having recently moving to a new house, I was told by a friend that Corbeil was an excellent place to buy appliances. I was in need of a few appliances so I thought I'd give it a shot. There's a fairly decent variety of brands of furniture and the store was relatively clean. My biggest gripe with the Innes location however are the workers, I do not know much about appliances so I went to an employee to inquire about a getting a stainless steel microwave and oven. He was not very enthusiastic at all, almost as if he didn't like his job. He responded to my questions with single-word answers and remarks that I wasn't fully satisfied with. Considering that they're selling appliances, I was assuming an accurate and knowledgable response, however I left unsatisfied and decided to do my research at home before buying a product. The selection of Corbeil's appliances are pretty good, but their customer service suffers.

Dymon is absolutely astonishing, I went in for a quote the other day and they offered me that absolute cheapest price I've ever seen! I took a look around the facility and the place was stunning! Not a trace of dust anywhere. The staff was extremely helpful and answered every question that I had, I will never consider another storage facility again. I definitely recommend Dymon for everyone that's considering a clean and accessible self-storage option.
