Took half the money and then had excuse after excuse to not come in to finish, and continuously demanding money, after just doing excavation.
Throughout the time John was working with us, he was rude, snappy, and completely unprofessional. He would often get into brawls with his own workers. The work that he DID manage to do, was done sloppily and without care. It was obvious they wanted to finish everything quickly, no matter how bad the quality of the work was, as John had stated that he was working on more than 40 different projects at a time. We had a few contractors check the property after John and his crew left, and all were dumbfounded by the lack of care and unprofessionalism in the work that was done. All of them recommended to redo the work because it was as they said, terrible.
Please be VERY wary.

John completed the work in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. The scope of the project included covering an existing concrete patio with new interlocking stone and connecting that area to 2 new concrete pads and a pea gravel walkway. John provided good recommendations on the choice of stone and the construction of 2 stone pillars. It looks great and we love our new patio.

Contractor representative John showed up, give me written estimate, took $700 deposit and never done the job. I filed complain with BBB and contacted paralegal to take him to small claim court. Fortunately I have his signed agreement all recordings of the phone conversations.
