B.F.I. Renovations

Swimming pool mechanisms turned off and would not go back on. Was it the on/off switch or as pool company said the need for a new filter @ $1,300 approx. installed. Jon electrician from this above company determined there was a crack in front of on/off box which allowed water in and tripped the circuit breaker. Jon changed the front of this box and pool systems are all working. This company saved me $1,300 and my pool company of 50 years diagnosed incorrectly by email -never in person. I would highly recommend Jon and this company: very competent, ethical and caring that he got it done correctly.

I hired Nabil to do a bathroom remodel at my house. He did a great job, stayed within my specified budget without cutting any corners. At our initial meeting he told me when he could start it and estimated a completion date and he delivered on both the start and finish date as him and I discussed.

Wonderful experience with B.F.I. renovations. The team was professional and tidy. I am very happy with the final results, my house looks great!

We have hired painters in the past for other houses we have owned. So we know what a professional job should be. Nabil sent workers who had no experience whatsoever. The work was horrendous. Even after Nabil did one of the walls himself, it was a poor result. We spent a whole days trying to fix the job after Nabil left even if it was only three walls. There was orange paint on the white ceiling, the lines were crooked and bled where the coloured walls met the grey ones. The first painter did not use a tarp on the floor. Almost a year has passed and I am still scraping the paint splatter of the wooden floor. This worker did not remove any of the fixtures and started to paint around them. The primer was not painted on the whole wall which ment there were definite different shades of orange. The second worker was a student and this was his first experience. Nabil promised me he had tones of experience. I had to teach him how to paint. But it was still badly done.

Oh, and the plaster guy's job was also badly done. Nabil himself said so and redit it.

Nabil is a wonderful guy and he is actually a very good actor. I enjoyed his company. But this was a very bad experience on the practical side. We would have done a better job ourselves.

Hopefully, he has gotten better teams to work with. I don't mean him any harm. I was surprised when he sent me this evaluation submit. But I have to be honest and tell it like it was. So sorry.
