FRC INC - Renovations and Construction

A very easy labour job as Neil would say, months behind quoted start date. Communication is not something this company or the owner or his staff can handle meaning you dont know if they will be in the next day or for several days. No craftsmanship pride or respect for the final product. This was a simple rip out and replace sure I paid the extra for the electrical upgrades, sure I made some changes as we went along and yes a new pantry did I pay for it I sure did, I would not recommend simply because owner is to focused on his new shirt, Neil had the nerve to tell me my home was not as much a priority as his pontoon boat he was getting serviced that was a fun delay where they just didnt come. I provided all the material you simply had to install and still I had to fix and finish your job.

Just approach with caution and consider just going and hiring the neighborhood children to do the work at least you wont have to pick up the cigarette butts from the kids right?

I have waited almost a year for this post so you can be assured this is just for the good people of the internet land and not emotionally motivated.

They are great company, friendly, workmanship is great. They say it like it is with the repairs so I like the straight forward honsety. Did the whole job as promised. Super friendly. Just need work on communication. Let me know if you are coming the next day or not. Otherwise I would recommend them. The boss comes by to over look things so that is nice. So to me was not that big of a deal. I would give them 4.5 stars out of 5. It's just for the communication part.

I don't hesitate recommending Neil and his company. Neil came through with every commitment promised. We love our new deck and planning our next project with FRC Inc.

Neil and crew did an outstanding job and delivered a first class product in terms of tear-down of 2 old decks resign of one large deck with pergola and replacement of side door steps and railing.
Lots of good advice and expert knowledge went into this pressured treated deck with pergola.
I would trust Neil any time with a complex renovation project.

We're so happy with the work they did, the crew was friendly and professional. They installed a couple windows and left no mess behind, we'll definitely be having them back to do more work in our house.

Was looking for a complete tear out and redo of front porch and adding a overhang as well before the winter season because other porch was becoming unsafe.

After meeting with the owner and discussing the plan, I went ahead and booked them.

They were a very professional team, and being a women homeowner I didn't feel like I was being talked under, the owner and his crew explained things to me when I had questions and ananswered any questions I made had.

There workmanship and work was absolutely amazing, I would definitely hire them again for future projects. They took pride in the work they do, and also left the area as clean as it was if not even cleaner.

I would strongly recommend this company to my friends and family since they did such a amazing job.

Neil and his team exceeded my expectations. They rebuilt our old deck structure, greatly increasing the structural stability. Neil, Chad, Abdu and Peter were friendly and hard-working. Despite some extra work which was not in the estimate, Neil stuck to the original price. It was a pleasure to meet them, and I plan to have them come back to do more work in the near future.

This is the 2nd time we've used FRC. They did a beautiful job reconstructing our front stairs to make them more accessible for my mom. This time we had them put a walk way in to make it easier for her new walker and wheelchair and they installed grab bars inside for safety. They were fast and conscientious. They wanted my input through out both projects and offered suggestions when I wasn't sure. They're a great team and I look forward to hiring them again.

Note: I was surprised I had note yet posted a review for FRC on HomeStars as I have used them a number of times in the past two years.

Neil and his crew have been amazingly responsive to our needs, completing the work and going above and beyond with better ideas.

Last winter, they finished our garage ceiling, refilling insulation in areas that had not been done during home construction.

The last bit of work involved adding a new doorway in our basement, complementing a closet reconstruction job that had a bizarre angle. The end result looked like the room was designed like that from the get go.

Highly recommended!
