Platinum Electrical recently installed an 18kw standby generator for us. Their service was beyond excellent: I wish I could give more than 10 stars. The initial site survey with Mark, the full and detailed communication with Mahtab, and the efficiency of the installation crew (Corey et. al.) made the project one of the easiest home improvements we have made. So many details were handled so smoothly and we were always consulted -- a pleasure! Many, many thanks!

I believe that the total project cost is a bit higher than usual because of our choice for the location of the generator. I have not included the hydro isolation fee because it varies widely across the GTA.

The company really messed up initially. Lots of back and forth and promises to fix the issue. Now finally they came and made it all right. The people that they sent today were excellent and they made things a whole lot better. It took a very long time but Im glad its now fixed to what it should have been initially.

Then missed two more appointments that had been set to fix this and perform maintenance and have the nerve to ask me to pay for the tuneup after they missed the appointment that was set. And then want to set up another appointment.

Our experience with Platinum has been top notch. We contacted the Platinum Electrical Contractors office and Adam (the president) came out the same day to give us a quote and explained the whole process thoroughly. Mahtab was in constant contact with us over the next few weeks and answered any questions promptly. We had a 22kw Generac Whole Home generator installed yesterday. The work and attitude of the installation team (Corey, Anthony and Zee) was great and they went above and beyond to make our customer experience the best. Choosing the Platinum team to install our generator was certainly the right decision. We would highly recommend them.

I did my homework and decided to use Platinum Electric to install a whole home generator. I was given a detailed estimate by Mark and was always kept informed by Mahtab. Installation was set up based on my availability. The whole job was incredibly coordinated by them. From getting the gas company to change the meter to making sure that the Provincial Electric Inspectors were able to come and approve the work. The three workers, were most pleasant and more importantly extremely knowledgeable. They happily answered all my questions. There is no doubt that they really know their job. I am happy to say that I really feel I made the right decision to go with Platinum Electric.

They arranged for the Gas Meter Upgrade, Power Shutoff and Natural Gas Hookup without me having to get involved. Very stress free.
