The door to my front load dryer cracked. Called this company to have the dryer door replaced. The technician arrived at the scheduled time. He took down the make & model of my dryer, called their office and provided me a quote. Quoted price is $240 for labour and $586 for parts. They require 50% deposit totalling $466 which I paid as requested. After a month of following up, they told me the parts has been discontinued hence they will provide a refund of $139. They claim the technician did some service as noted in his report by doing some adjustment. I was with the technician the entire time when he arrived. The only thing he did is took down the make & model of my dryer and called their office. He cannot do any service since the issue is a cracked door, with no part, what adjustment will he do. The customer service insisted work had been done so they charge the labour fee. The refund constitute the portion of the part I paid. Stay away from this company, go somewhere else.

Called to fix a refrigerator that was not cooling. Technician arrived and cited a $600 part needed replacing. After replacing that part the issue persisted. Technician arrived again and cited a $1200 part that needs replacing. The issue persisted after that. I called a third time and supposedly the technician had noted on my account that I may need a third part.

After complaining to the company that I feel none of the fixes are solving the problem the company told me that this is just how Technical problems are solved and that Id need to buy the third part to solve the issue.

Save your money, go somewhere else.

Shame on me for being duped twice. First time, dryer required new drum...ordered in Feb '24, wrong part sent end of March and was reordered. I had to continually follow up to get an eta and finally, service was set for today. No one showed. I called 45 minutes after the service window to learn that the part is no longer available and they would refund me the price I paid for the part, less a $200 restocking and delivery fee! Cannot believe it! A restocking fee for a part that is no longer available!

In the meantime, I needed my dishwasher repaired urgently. A valve was replaced, service was quick and efficient. Spoke to KitchenAid to have it covered by warranty only to find that I was charged $195 for a $75 part and $290 for labor when KA service caps at $125.

Difficult lesson to learn. Bottom line, stay away from this outfit!

worst ever - great website which says they take cards but this creepy guy shows up and demands cash before he even looks at anything - says the credit card machine is down - says it needs parts and demands more cash before he can order the parts - doesn't call back so i call them after 10 days and they say - he's on his way - we just got the parts - no change in the operation of my LG washer/dryer - cost 2k cash - vile people -

Stay far away from these people...$860 for repair and still telling me needs for parts...dont think 1st part was even installed as took sealed box with him when he left..

I had them come in to fix my cooktop and microwave. On the phone, they said their dispatch fee was 80 and when I asked them for their labour rate, they said they did not have one and the technitian would provide a quote after doing a diagnostic. The technitian then said it would cost me $316 for a diagnostic analysis which had to be paid upfront. After the dignostic was completed, he quoted me $700 for cooktop parts which is nearly half the cost of a brand new cooktop and and $600 for microwave parts. At that price I could get 2 new microwaves. I said I would think about the repair and let them know and he had me sign off the invoice and left. After he left I checked the cooktop and there was a large crack on the glass cooktop that was not there before.
I immediately called the company and even sent pictures as proof that the cook top was not damaged this morning prior to his arrival, but they refused to take responsiblity.
Stay away from this company as they have no idea what they are doing and they refuse to take responsibility for damages caused.

My Bosch dishwasher stopped working. The technician diagnosed as a motor problem. Asked a half of part fee and labour. One week later the same technician came and installed the new motor and said done. I was not there and my family member thought the repair was done. NO! Once we tried it to run, the machine didn't stop at all. We had to turn off the breaker. I called the company and they said we need a new control board. They demanded a half of the cost of the part. I was confused and paid the money. But after all no follow-up and I called again and they said they didnt know when the part would be coming. I had to ask another company and finally fixed it.

What a nightmare! My LG fridge broke down and I called this company, the guy came and I paid $305 upfront to do the diagnostic , he told me I have to change the motherboard and sensor that cost $650, thats the total of $950, after he changed it he told me it will take 24 hrs to work. After 12 hrs its still not working at all, I called the office and she told me I need a compressor which he wrote down in the but he told me its fixed, I did not know he wrote down in the paper a compressor $1,875 !!! This company just wants your money, please do not deal with them!!

I will spare the details of the first leg of the story as it resembles a similar thread as the rest of these glaring reviews - I paid for their services and got screwed by an incorrect diagnosis but the real issue comes from them (The Appliance Repair Team) holding my money for 2 months now.

I was told that I needed to order a motor control kit for $907.64. I paid them with two weeks going by saying the part was on "backorder." After a month of waiting, I requested a refund as I had lost faith in their ability to acquire the part and perform the service. They docked me a 15% fee (even though I never received the part) for a total refund of $743.47.

It has now been two months with regular phone calls to their business requesting my money. Their response is that they are waiting on a manager to "sign-off" on the refund. If it is not clear from the previous reviews - stay away. I am currently pursuing legal action and will check back here with updates.

Also, if you're wondering - I had the washer fixed by another company in under two weeks. The part The Appliance Repair Team quoted was completely incorrect.

Why these guys showed up with 9/9 in black (23 reviews) I didnt know my error as well for it not looking at all the glaring POOR REVIEWS.
I unfortunately called them and booked an appointment so called $80 service charge to diagnose the problem, and once done we do decide to go ahead with them, there will then be a $299. +parts fee and the $80 service charge will be deducted.
NOTE RedFlag 1- they will tell you as it is same day you cant call back and cancel the appointment.
Red Flag 2 - Booked time earliest appointment was bet 4pm and 7pm, this is at 2 something pm but buddy called within minutes will be at my home in 5mins.
Their tech guy came and opened the lower back of the fridge, looked at the freezer to identify the problem which took him 5-7 mins to identify the motherboard to the thermostat not communicating. HOWEVER, To confirm that is issue or possibly something else required it will cost $299.00.
Less than 10 mins to now actually have to remove the thermostats and put a meter on it and confirm it JAZZ motherboard and control requires replaced. I told him I would rather get a Fridge. The service fee for these guys are basically $299+tax! Dont get fooled
