Spectrum design & build

Mat is a great General Contractor. Our project was mainly on time and budget considering the supply chain restraints we had during the pandemic. We did have to make some decisions on the fly as some materials were no longer available. Mat was quick to act and made sure thing went as smoothly as possibly. We did go over our projected timeline, however we did not go over budget.

I would definitely recommend Spectrum Design & Build.

Mat B has a great eye for design and guided us to some great aesthetic choices. His employees (Cesar and Hasani) were very respectful of our home and of our neighbours.

2021-2022 were very difficult years and while things like timelines were missed it's not always the contractor's fault. I'd recommend having a regularly scheduled (weekly) catch up in order to strengthen client communications, especially when conditions are difficult.

I admire Mat for sticking with a challenging project in challenging times. Some things could have gone better, a lot of things could have gone worse, but he didn't abandon the project where many contractors might have.

Mat was amazing to deal with from start to finish. Construction went seamless & on schedule despite the current market conditions. Would recommend to anyone for any size job.

I hired this company all I can say is it was truly right and very professional experience.

Had Spectrum redo my entire main floor from top to bottom.. floors, ceilings, lighting, completely new kitchen, etc.. Start to finish they were so easy to work with , came in under budget and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Highly recommend !!!

Mat and his team provided an estimate for my extensive home remodel. They were professional, friendly and warm during every interaction. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and followed up on time and were very organized. Although we didn’t go ahead with the work, I would recommend Mat and the Design Spectrum team as a great group to work with. It’s clear they take the time to get to know their clients to make each project exactly what you want.
