Mat B has a great eye for design and guided us to some great aesthetic choices. His employees (Cesar and Hasani) were very respectful of our home and of our neighbours. 2021-2022 were very difficult years and while things like timelines were missed it's not always the contractor's fault. I'd recommend having a regularly scheduled (weekly) catch up in order to strengthen client communications, especially when conditions are difficult. I admire Mat for sticking with a challenging project in challenging times. Some things could have gone better, a lot of things could have gone worse, but he didn't abandon the project where many contractors might have.
