Contractor asks for 90% of project budget up front with tactics of delaying for months what would have been a job done within 2 weeks. This company is not reputable nor honest. Be careful.

Unfortunately, I too fell victim of Jesse.

My wife and I had been saving for many years to be able to put a pool that our family could enjoy. It was supposed to be one of the happiest moments of our home ownership but unfortunately it has become our biggest nightmare.
My wife and I are devastated at what has happened to us and the money we have lost.

Like many others that have already written their reviews, their experienced and had to dealt with jesse ,
I too hired Jesse to build us a pool and some interlocking but I too had to pay the high price of hiring him and his crew and ended up paying for more than 90% of the job and unfortunately it was not done.

Months and month went by of constant begging jesse to return to finish our project and no signs of Jesses return or willingness to bring our material and equipment.

At this point we had payed Jesse 60k and the job was never finish, as mentioned we still don’t have the interlocking, pool equipment, liner or concrete work needed.
so we decided to contacts other pool companies and get some advice and cost of finishing it however After contacting companies and them doing throughout inspection of the work he had done so far, we have been turn down as no one was willing to take on our project or the responsibility of picking it up where he left of as every single company considered the work done so far to be done wrong, improperly done and quite careless.
This means that our entire pool (work jesse did up to this point) will have to be dug out, fixed, properly installed and then it could be continued to get finished.
Leaving us with a worst situation than when he came in for the first time. (our yard was in beautiful shape)

Other things we experienced with jesse was damages to our home, our yard (destroyed front, side and and back) our sprinkler system (broken water lines) and unfortunately damage to our neighbours interlocking. (I will have to pay a company to fix my neighbours interlocking)
He also installed two pipes connected to our sump pump system which cause the pipes to freeze and burst. I called a sump pump company and was told that should of never been done.

I would also mention the safety concerns like my neighbours asking us to please ask him to slow down as he would fly thru with the machines between our houses (my neighbours have you done kids).

I also asked jesse to please put a temporary gate or orange mesh (like hoarding required by the city) to block access to my backyard BUT that too never got done.
My backyard was left with a hole in the ground, filled with water with no measures to prevent anyone from entering the backyard and God forbid someone getting hurt, this is quite reckless, unsafe and of course unprofessional.

At this point, us (and other people) have seek legal help and have reached out to authorities (in each of ours jurisdictions) as we believe what has happened to us and many others is completely illegal and something must be done before others too fall victim of this.

It took over 6 months to fence a small backyard! He went with a subcontractor who would do 1-2 panels a week because he refused to pay the sub. So many emails, txts, and calls with no reply! I was going to get pool and landscaping done from them but not anymore. Please read the homestars and FB reviews. I see BBB has been alerted and I'll be filing a compliant with them too.

Just like everyone else, I had a horrible experience. He was starting out and begging me for a job. So I thought I'd help but he basically looted my money. I doubt this fence will last 1 winter. I'll have to hire an actual professional to replace this disaster of a fence. Check out fb reviews for full story. Stay away from this company.

I had many new fence projects. This was the WORST. Neighbour suggest him. Jesse got subcontractor to do work without telling us. He was worse than Jesse. Used very cheap wood. Messed up property lines. Posts were crooked. Cement everywhere. No fence brackets. Took over 3 months! Jesse is amateur. He took money from neighbours and didn’t finish fence. Stay away. Don't get fooled or robbed by Jesse/Vision.

-In April 2021 we requested a quote from the owner for installing a fence and gate in the backyard. After receiving the quote we decided to proceed and paid the 50% deposit. After committing to dates several times and not showing up they finally arrived on May 31st to install the fence. But they didn’t bring the gate that was supposed to also be installed, and only gave excuses about it, so we had to install a gate ourselves afterwards.
-A few days after the fence install we noticed that they didn’t finish a portion of the fence properly as the post wasn’t cut down and capped and a bracket was missing. See attached photo. We raised this with the owner via email and tried calling however no response was received.
-After continually following up to get a response the owner finally responded after over a month and said he would be at our place by July 23 to correct the deficiencies and finish the job, but he never showed up nor did he call or communicate anything with us.
-Another couple months of trying to get a hold of the owner or anyone else from the company and finally on September 13 the owner responded saying he would be at our place that week, but of course he was a no show with no communication or anything.
-After following up again he said he would arrive on September 20th, and again did not show up, call or communicate at all.
-We are now 4 months since the deficient job was started with nothing but many empty promises, zero customer service skills, and no solution in sight with this company.
Unless you have months of extra time beyond your project schedule, incredible patience, or tolerance for incomplete work, avoid this company and owner. There are so many other better options out there for companies that actually want your business, finish a job properly, and know how to communicate. Looking at the other reviews on here we clearly aren’t the only ones experiencing this poor service. Just avoid and get a quote elsewhere.

We went with Jesse because he said it would be done in 2-4 weeks. The whole summer is gone. We have no fence. No communication. No updates. Lots of excuses. Very bad experience. Do not recommend.

I wanted to post this as a warning for others so they don't have to go through the nightmare that we went through. WARNING: the "owner" is unprofessional, deceitful, and provides a very low quality product/service

April 29, 2021: 4 homes signed a contract and paid 60% deposits for fencing and were promised project would be complete by end of May

May 2021: no unsolicited updates provided. We saw him on the street while he was trying to get more houses to sign on and were told some excuse and "next week"

June 8, 2021: a subcontractor showed up unannounced in the rain and dug post holes to 2 feet with property damage. (Breach of contract as contract states fencing will commence in 2-4 weeks and holes will be dug to 4 feet). See pictures.

June 22, 2021: holes are left uncovered for 2 weeks and fill with rain water. Posts are finally places in cement. Cement is not properly mixed as the cement bags are just dumped into the holes full of rain water

July 2021: "owner" has large altercation with subcontractor and he is apparently fired. Fence and Deck Pros are brought on and are told to start fencing across the street even though our 4 homes were first to sign and pay

Aug 9, 2021: email sent asking for update and voicing our concerns with no reply

Aug 24, 2021: final request sent to complete by Sept 3 or we would be taking legal action. No reply.

Sept 20, 2021: letter served by my lawyers and fencing still not complete

Misc:
- 1 post hole remains uncovered with no post since June 8
- "owner" measured the property line wrong for several houses across the street resulting in errors of 6-12"
- "owner" dug posts 10 feet apart himself across the street which is not to code
- "owner" begged for larger deposits even after neighbours had paid 60%

Edit: Jesse contacted us a couple of days after this review was posted, his team came days later to offer a couple of solutions to the issues we were having, fence brackets were installed, making it more sturdy.

Original review: Jesse, I’m trying to reach out to you, by all means, phone, email, text and you just don’t answer anything. It’s very disrespectful and not professional after you have told us you’ll come and fix the issues almost two months ago.

We paid on time and we don’t understand why is it so hard for you to communicate back to us and fix what we are asking for.

The pictures attached show how detail their work is.

Work was done quickly and with care for surrounding plants etc. Equipment was new and employees capable of the scope of work desired. Polite and hard-working staff.
Will use again.
