The service provided by Sauzteq Enginering Inc. was comprehensive, efficient and timely. When I went to the town for approval everything was in order and was approved immediately. When the town inspectors reviewed the completed sections of the project, again everything was immediately approved. Great job Mohammed, when there were questions from the contractors you answered them immediately. Overall I am very pleased and appreciative of your input into the success of our renovation project.

We wanted to remove a closet but were unsure if it was load bearing. Mohammed was able to inspect the closet and roof to determine it was not. He was professional and very helpful. Would recommend him !

I had three different engineers who advised against A wall removal as it was not possible as they believed the wall to be a load bearing wall before reaching out to Sauzteq.

I had totally given up on removing of my wall as the professional opinions I received all said it wasn’t possible and one opinion said it would be possible but with many support beams which defeated the purpose for the removal.

At this point, I was disappointed and decided to put my project on hold.

A few months later, it was time for me to start my renovation and having my heart set on an open concept I decided to have one last consult.

Mohammed came, he analyzed the structure from the outside. He came in, did his measurements, and asked if there was an attic. None of the other consults i had asked for an attic hatch.

Sure enough I had one, and mohammad went into the attic and investigated, identified the roof structure as an engineered truss.

He asked if he could perform a cut test in my ceiling to analyze the wall I was hoping to remove further.

After the cut test he said, there is a possibility of removing the structure, but he would need to estimate the strength of the roof among other things before providing an official opinion.

2 business days later he advised that it was not a load bearing roof, he provided the necessary letters and drawings for city permits.

He exceeded my expectations, satisfied the city inspectors, he provided support and feedback to the general contractor throughout, he was absolutely fantastic.

I was referred to Sauzteq Engineering by the general contractor I hired to replace my two small garage doors with a single large garage door. Mohammad has been very responsive over email, always arriving on time, handled all of the city inspection bureaucracy for a modest fee and most importantly, the end result is exactly what I was hoping it would be.

Had an inspection done to determine if a wall I wanted removed was load bearing, and had drawgings done all. All very good and speedy!

I am not the easiest to work for, but even before being hired, Mohammad was amazing with providing information. We had made the mistake of hiring someone else and mid way through realized our huge error. Thankfully Mohammad took over and completed the drawings and the additional staircase drawings we required. We knew we would need some pretty large cuts to the foundation wall due to the building code requirements, and it was a peace of mind to know a structural engineer was overseeing the recommendations.
He was always super responsive if we had any questions or needed modifications to the drawings as requested from the City of Brampton. 2 days ago, we just received our Building Permit ... thank you Mohammad!!

Mohammad responded promptly to my email and we were easily able to arrange a site visit. He was able to accommodate all of our requests for wall removal despite a number of complicating factors. He was able to engineer flitch beams to allow the beams to be hidden, something other engineers were not willing to do. Within 3 weeks he had produced engineered drawing which I used to obtain permits. Highly recommended!

Sauzteq Engineering was very responsive and quickly came to the house for inspection. Mohammed thoroughly inspected and measured our 1950s era house in Oakville. He quickly verified that one wall we planned to remove was load bearing and another wall was not. Mohammed produced permit drawings in only a few days, which is amazing! He has promptly responded to queries from both the contractor and the building department.
