John renovated our small ensuite and main bathroom bringing them both up to date. Very stylish high end finished in both. Superb craftsmanship in the cabinets and tile work. He also renovated a bedroom closet to become a 2nd floor laundry room complete with floor drain for emergency overflow and cabinets for storage. Overall we were very impressed with Johns work ethic and attention to the little details. Great communication, very tidy work areas with minimal disruption to the rest of the house. We are extremely happy with our results and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to friends, family or strangers. Already planning our next job for JCH Home Improvements.

We are 100% satisfied with the work done. John is very professional, extremely efficient and respectful. I cannot praise the workmanship enough. It is TOP NOTCH and it is evident that John takes much pride in his work. He answered any questions we had, and always showed up right on time to start working. So refreshing! He even was able to help us thru some additional little repairs with a smile. My only regret was not to have found John before we renovated our kitchen last year!!!

John completely updated my home studio salon space. The studio is stunning! My guests comment always about how beautiful and zen the space is.
Custom cabinets, paneling and shiplap ceiling as well as tiling all were meticulously installed. The lighting compliments hair colour and skin tones fabulously.
I am beyond happy with my studio and incredibly proud to have it represent myself as a beauty professional.

John has worked his magic on our home again! In 2013 we had John create a new stair case for us just after we moved into our new home in Whitby. He did such a great job we thought we'd get him back to do a major overhaul for our dated kitchen. Well, my wife and I are very happy with the job he did! We now have a very beautiful white kitchen that really opens up the entire space. You can see John's carpentry skills and talents throughout the entire kitchen! His attention to detail and his ideas really manifested into something unique and beautiful for us. THANKS JOHN! :)

I would highly recommend John Hurdman and his company JCH HOME IMPROVEMENTS. John is a highly detailed and well organized company. His company refaced my stairs and did it with excellence, they were in and out of my house with absolutely no trouble and no mess. John is now my contractor that I will use for any home improvement job that I have. His company is very reasonably priced. Again I highly recommend this company.
