My own ability at being handy is limited to picking up a hammer, and promptly hitting my thumb with it. Keino and his staff at DEH were aware of this, and were patient and able to explain to me in language I would understand what needed to be done and why. The job took a little longer than anticipated, but the house is +65 years old. There were some unexpected issues, understandably given the age, and there was no conversation about changing the quote. I did see the renovations being done on a daily basis, their work area was always clean when they left, and I was happy with the results and how things progressed. Friends and family who saw the house as a before and after were startled by the transformation. The colours chosen, new flooring/stairs, new light fixtures, and modern trim made the rooms appear bigger and gave the house a fresh, new look. The work they did outside the house also contributed to giving the house a new look. The ultimate compliment is that I was left with the feeling that I wished I had done these renovations years ago.

I hired Keino and his crew at D.E.H Inc. to replace the old siding on my house with new James Hardie HardieShingle siding and HardieTrim boards, plus install decking on my new rooftop deck. The crew performed good quality work. Keino was very helpful and seemed quite knowledgeable.

Keino and his company, D.E.H., was recommended by a family friend and I was very pleased. I didnt replace the kitchen cabinets, but had them extended to the ceiling, new hardware (including soft close hinges) and repainted. The guys also replaced all of the tile floor in the kitchen and foyer, new backsplash, countertops, lighting, taps, sink, painted the kitchen and foyer walls and ceilings, and replaced all of my outside lighting fixtures (12).
All work was done properly and professionally with a special thanks to Ronald and Sean who were at the house almost daily.
