Can Aussie Windows & Doors Ltd

We contracted Paul and CanAussie to replace all the original windows and 1 set of patio sliders in our 1970s home. Paul was very accommodating and able to work with our timeline (we signed in February or March and didn't have the work scheduled until July), and actually made a suggestion to replace the slider that fit with what we wanted but wouldn't jeopardize resale value. I actually wanted to change the slider onto the balcony - only accessible from the master - to a single door, but Paul suggested a replacement that works better, gives me tons of airflow in the bedroom, and just looks great!

There were a few delays (weather and a manufacturing delay, neither the fault of Can Aussie), but these were MORE than made up for by the upgraded (and gorgeous) trim that Paul installed to match the character of the front door better than a standard trim.

We were planning to add a new window, but bylaw stated we were at the max sqft, so we wound up paying less than the quote and the only additional was less than $300 in extra materials needed to replace the exterior trim which we hadn't originally planned on. So all told, there were 8 windows (one of them absolutely massive) and the balcony door replaced with triple pane for well under $20K.

Would recommend (and in fact already have recommended to at least 3 people)!!

Paul and Can Aussie replaced the glass in all of our windows, the whole front doorway, two other exterior doors, and one interior door. Paul was very easy to deal with and the price was reasonable. Paul added value by telling us that we could get windows with a larger dead air space (5/8") for the same price as regular 1/2" windows. It was also not an easy job as our home is 2 stories high with a walkout (so three stories high in the back) and some of the windows are very large. We would highly recommend Paul and Can Aussie Windows.

Paul and his crew replaced all windows and doors (and a skylight) on our 25yr old house; hauled all old windows/doors and materials away, repaired stucco, installed new casings and trim and re-installed window coverings. He has come back for service work also. Paul’s work is thorough and has made a noticeable improvement in the comfort and appearance of our home.

We replaced all of the windows in our home with Lux triple pane. We received quotes from other companies as well. Paul from Can Aussie provided a competitive quote and answered all of our questions. The windows performed great with a very cold winter this year and our heating bill was much lower than anticipated. Our house is cooler(and quieter) in the summer as well. Paul and his staff did an excellent job at installation and we would not hesitate to recommend his service.

I was very pleased with Paul and his team, they arrived first thing in the morning, they got right to work. They were proficient and very professional. Their attention to detail, was amazing, they rehung my blinds back up, which is something I know that no other company would do, because I did ask when getting quotes. They left my home clean and tidy, it didn't even look like they had been there, except for the beautiful slider and windows. I would recommend CanAussie, and have recommend them. Fantastic window and door company. Personable, knowledgeable and reliable contractors who replaced 8 windows(including four very large ones) and two doors that were all originals in my 40 year old house. Have just finished my first winter with these new windows and doors and the house was considerably warmer. Excellent service. Paul was able to come and advise on the best windows for my needs. The installation was great, he even installed my new blinds for me! Paul went above and beyond, found a solution so I could still run my air conditioner with the new windows, and made it happen for me.

Master Bedroom window removed and replaced with new triple pane window. Top quality all the way. Paul and crew very easy to work with. Work was done efficiently, quickly, and with no abrasion to surrounding surfaces inside or out. Very thorough clean-up at end.

A few years ago Paul replaced all the glass in our 3100 square foot home which was about 35 years old, because between the double pane glass we were getting condensation. He was very honest with us that the frames were still in great shape and we didn’t have to go to the expense of changing the glass and frames, which kept the cost down. He did a great job and when we sold that house I’m sure it made it more sellable. We moved to a 25 year old villa and all the windows and frames were in very poor shape. Paul replaced all the windows and the front door which has a side window as well. We went with triple pane glass and we are so pleased with how they keep out the cold and noise and look fantastic. I highly recommend Can Aussie.
