Number 1 Movers

We did quite a bit research on the moving companies in Canada and then decided to choose Number 1 movers with our friend's recommendation who already moved to AB.
I was very nervous,we all heard horror stories about movers.

In the morning of the moving day, they showed right in the time window. The crew were very professional, efficient and quick. They wrapped the furniture carefully and loaded everything quickly (Brandi is great packing the truck).

3 weeks later at our new place they unloaded everything very quickly. They put everything exactly to the designate spots and also installed the furniture, piano and our 2 beds properly. We were very impressed.

We had a great moving experience. We will certainly use Number 1 movers again when we move next time!

We were so impressed with Mark our Van supervisor and his helpers- they moved us from winnipeg to kelowna and it was seamless! The administrative communication was super professional and responsive. Andrews estimate was right on !
The moving team kept the time frame given by the office and overall were super friendly and helpful . They were very thorough in packing our belongings carefully thankfully they were able to fit everything what we had even patio stuff.

We used Number 1 Movers for a recent move including packing (full at one location, just kitchen at another) and moving from Toronto to Greater Sudbury. They were really great and handled everything with efficiency and care. Though their appraisal was significantly less than some other estimates I received and I feared this meant perhaps they had underestimated, I was very pleased when they came through at pretty much the estimated times. They made a stressful process reasonably smooth and I appreciated the great communication before, during, and after the move. THANKS!

Smooth experience with Number 1. I was given a detailed and transparent quote that ended up being very close to the final price. There were no surprise fees or charges. My coordinator was phenomenal. She was very helpful throughout the entire experience. I did have to make one small claim at the end and it was resolved right away and to my satisfaction. The drivers/movers (in Ontario and BC) were all very nice and worked quickly and smart. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I hired Number 1 Movers to move a large appliance from Edmonton to the Regina. From the initial quote, which was very reasonable, to the communication in setting up the move, to the day-of execution, I could not have asked for a better experience. The team was prompt, courteous and capable. I will definitely hire them again

Number 1 movers are doing my move today. Arrived on time and were extremely professional. Very informative and removed all stress from us. I would highly recommend. No damages on either side and in the cold weather, they all carried smiles and laughter , you won't regret.

I have received excellent help from them during my removal. Their workers are very practical and efficient. I like them very much and if there is a need for removal again, I will contact them. Thankyou so much!!!

I am very satisfied with Number 1 movers. The staff was very careful in handling my things and the management was flexible considering my available budget. They had full disclosure of the full price and extra fees from the beginning, so there were no surprises with the final payment. They are open to conversation and the communication was efficient. I had no problem with missing boxes and not a single broken glass! I highly recommend it!

My experience with number1 movers was anxiety inducing, frustrating, shocking, and needlessly expensive. That star is for the West District Manager who was assigned to my job to find my missing furniture (and has found three out of six missing pieces of furniture that had been left in the storage warehouse). Zero stars for the rest of Number1 movers.

I was naive and trusting. I wish I could go back in time and do more research and read more review pages. I hope you see my review and the other reviews on the Better Business Bureau before you book Number1 Movers for your move.

Great experience start to finish. Setting up the move was simple. All my questions were answered and the pricing and fees were straight-forward and clear, no hidden fees. Moved from Hamilton to Kelowna . The crew was fast and efficient, but still careful. I have an old antique dresser, which is over 5ft. long, that belonged to my grandmother that is fragile, and the crew took care to wrap it and lift it properly when moving it. They were professional and stayed in good spirits even to the end. Highly recommend. And I'll use them again the next time I move
