I initially signed up for their offer for a free nest protect. Elena came over to our home and gave a free in-home inspection. She is very passionate and knowledgeable. She pointed out a couple of things that I would never have thought off. Never did I feel pressured to commit to anything.

What she/Simply smart offer does make sense. After sitting on it for a month or so, I contacted her back and signed up for their water heater. They provided a brand new, energy efficient tank, and on top of that I received 3 wired nest protects! Surprisingly, I pay more with my previous provider for a 10+ years old rental. The installers were very professional and treated my home with care.

Devraj explains well about the system and how it works. I like the sound affects and it looks nice. Easy to understand and I like the idea about getting notifications to my phone

Devraj installed no cost smoke CO detector and fire safety awareness presentation. Excellent. Will order second one when some discount or future promotion, even think for furnace and tankless water heater.

Devraj came to my home for the nest protect program and educated my family and I about fire prevention, detection and fire escape plan. I got a nest hello doorbell camera and 2 nest alarms with a google home mini for free. Devraj installed everything on my family’s phone and showed me how to use everything. Really great company and excellent service. I really recommend taking advantage of their services!

Nest professional was great and very friendly. Gave very good insight about safety around the house and was very honest on what we needed to update.

We purchased a Nest thermostat from a big box store and contacted Simply Smart based on the list of recommended installers on the Nest website. The cost of the installation was $160. Upon arrival, the two installers (salesmen) aggressively promoted that we "purchase" a Nest thermostat through their company, paying only $5 a month, and with that we would get free installation. They were pushy and extremely convincing - we fell for it. Deep in the fine print of the agreement it states that the fee is a rental fee, and at the end of the 60 month term the thermostat can be returned or purchased at "fair market value". Buying out of the contract is upwards of $700, when the thermostat itself retails for $300.

They also tried to up-sell us with a protection plan for our furnace, AC, and a HEPA filter. A few days after installation they called back to again ask if we had decided to get a HEPA filter, and continued to try to make a sales pitch for why we should.

I would not recommend this company to anyone, and am shocked that Nest has this company on their list of suggested installers.

Signed up for the Nest protect program through Simply Smart e-mail. Hadn't heard anything back after a few weeks. Eventually received an e-mail that they were behind on responses. Ended up calling them. They booked an appointment with us from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No one called and nobody showed up either. Tried calling their 1-800 line and no one answered.

On a separate occasion I tried to solicit their services through their web site for assistance with a nest thermostat and no one ever replied to that request either.

At this point they could offer me 10 free devices and installations and I would not deal with this company.

Jay t helped us with a nest thermostat couple years ago. We called him to help with our ac also. Great customer service and professionalism. Would recommend him to my friends and family.
