EPE repaired my concrete floors in garage and basement utility room, as well as did parging. Their quote was very competitive in comparison with other companies. Their work was meticulous. Jason, Justin, Adam and their crew were very careful, respectful and professional on the job site. The after-job service was just as thoughtful. They came back to move the heavy shelves back into the utility room after the floors were dry after a few days. They also remembered small details as they promised. I highly recommend this company.

Jason and his crew did a great job on our front step and driveway. We got a wooden retaining wall and steps done with 6x6 timber (which many companies do not offer), interlock front step and walkway, repaired a cracked garage floor, driveway paved... Jason's crew is versatile and skilled.
Jason is easy to get a hold of, quick to respond, and gets the job done. His prices are very competitive as well.

In the spring of covid I contacted a few companies about giving us a walkway and possibly ripping up and redoing our driveway. Home Stars connected me with EPE and another company and I looked up a number of other companies through Google.

Jason, the owner, came to provide an estimate and was able to accommodate my ideas better than other companies by agreeing to doing an incline as opposed to so many steps, rounded corners as opposed to square angles along the path, matching certain bricks and he was able to provide a date for the work that was within a few weeks.

I had originally sought a heated surface to make winter easier but the quote for that option was astronomical and Jason aknowledged that and offered to talk through it as opposed to just leaving an email.

The quote for the walkway and driveway was competitive, they could do the job sooner, they could do it in less time than others and the service was above the rest so we went with EPE. They did collect a significant deposit before the work but part of that was to book the subcontractor for the drive way and they delivered.

They arrived when they said they would, even though it was stinking hot and there's no shade at the front of our house, they worked through. Adam and Tyler were the work horses on our crew and I appreciate their drive.

There were a few changes to the plan regarding the incline, they said they could still do the incline but the integrity of the structure would be stronger with a mild step at the top so we went with that. The stone looked like the stone from the book Jason provided but I think with a few more rains, the colour will match better.

The driveway was subcontracted to Bam, they were a well oiled machine- a big and kind crew, with all the right equipment, they came when they said they would, did our 4 car driveway in a morning (maybe 2 hours). They ripped out the old driveway down to the dirt, dumped the stone, poured fresh driveway and rolled it flat. I also liked that it looked like the boss was there the whole time, critiquing the work and pointing at places he wanted them to go back to. Like Jason's crew, they were tidy and they left things looking better than ever - thanks Bam!

Jason's commitment to client satisfaction is a difference maker too. When the job was done, they had cut into our lawn on each side because it needed to be adjusted to line up to the new grade. I felt that it looked unfinished and we had discussed using grass that had been cut out but it looked uneven, very dry and I was not pleased with it. Jason sent a couple guys over to soil and seed but they didn't have enough soil so I contacted him a second time about it and the very next business day, Adam showed up with a bunch of fill and grass seed and while I was skeptical that it would grow in fill, the grass is starting to come in and the project looks complete. As added bonuses, Jason also had the crew redo the parging around our garage doors so it would look as updated as the rest and they even parged around our porch so there was no risk of critters getting under the work- we had problems before.

I've never done a project of this magnitude with a contractor before but I have to say these guys did the work, listened to my concerns and didn't stop until I was satisfied. Even my husband is happy and that's no easy feat. Thank you Jason- you have a great crew, and effective business model and top notch customer service.

I included a before and after- the yellow grass is last year's sod struggling from this dry summer- nothing to do with the work EPE did.

In the summer of 2019, I contacted Jason (the owner) regarding a concrete and asphalt renovation in an area around my garage. He provided a very reasonable quote for the job and subsequently completed it professionally and on time. Last week I called Jason again and asked if he would be able to do another small repair to the asphalt around my garage. He attended immediately and not only did the job but refused to accept any payment saying that it was just a small job and he appreciated the opportunity to help out his past customers. Perhaps a small job for him but I challenge you to find a company that would come to your home with a truck and an asphalt hopper then spend two hours working and asking for nothing but a thank-you afterward. An outstanding individual with an awesome work ethic!!! I would strongly recommend Jason for any work you may have around your house.

We had been considering replacing our old wood surrounded steps and driveway for years. Jason responded quickly to our request and provided a variety of options in different price points. The work was done quickly taking care to maintain existing landscaping. The crew was tidy and hard working. An issue with the rise of one of the steps was addressed. We would consider them for future landscaping work.

We would highly recommend EPE, we had interlock, flowerbeds, and many other items done. The workers were on time, put in a lot of hours to help make our home beautiful. Very professional, they came to us at intervals in the work to ensure it was done to our satisfaction. Offered suggestions on improvements, extremely pleased with the new look.

Jason brought skilled contractors together to get these jobs done quickly and very well done. Price was great, quality was even better! What was really interesting was how many of our neighbours come over and started asking Jason for similar work. Like bees to honey!

Picked EPE from a listing in Homestars to help build my Patio. Jason and his boys were fantastic. They are not your typical contractor that work for 2 day's then abandon the site. They were there for the whole week and finished the job right on time. I will recommend this company to anyone who is interested in a quality job

We were searching on HomeStars for quotes from companies to have an addition made to our driveway out od interlock pavers. Jason was the first person to respond and quickly made arrangements to come by, meet with us, discuss the project, and give us a quote. He offered us a magazine full of various pavers we could choose from, he shared his expertise, and his creative vision for the project. He offered me a very reasonable price and a promise of a fast installation that they would be able to do soon.
The project was slightly delayed by Ottawa Locates providing the small flags for the gas lines and etc, but Jason kept in constant contact and when the information had been provided to them, they showed up the next day to begin the excavation. The crew was fast, but precise, and very courteous. It only two them two days to completely finish the project!

This is an update of my earlier reviews. In the original work the steps separated from the foundation of the house within about 3 months of the installation (May 2019). Despite numerous attempts, I could not get the attention of the vendor to repair the work, till I wrote my first review. In Nov. 2019, the vendor visited my place and promised to do the repairs in May 2020.
The vendor has now done the repairs, however, only time will tell, if repair done has addressed the underlying cause of the separation in the original installation.

I shall provide another update just before the expiry of the warranty period of 3 years.
