Cement slabs around garage door and 2nd story fell off as soon as they left, they came back and fixed it but some around garage are loose and 1 fell off after about a year.
The actual stone work on the face of the house seems secure...tho I haven't been up to check it...
Contacted Jason back in August 2020 to fix this, still waiting..

Well Jason i did leave out the porch separating again where you fixed it and the garage floor looks like it has a case of psoriasis...
The main issue was your lack of response, the last response to a txt was from Sept 2019 and the only call answered was in May 2021, we than tried to reach you late July several times to get an eta... but yet again 0
response...than amazingly you responded when I gave you a review.
And yes there was a lockdown but you seem to be using that as a crutch... I still had my kitchen fully renovated at that time, it took longer but everything was done as per their schedule...and we will use them to correct the outstanding issues.

Work was done quickly and at a fair price. Jason suggested some additional features which we hadn't considered but liked. We were quite pleased with the result. We have no reservations recommending this company.

The work done in our back yard is even better than we expected. The team led by Adam worked 10 days, 10 to 12 hours a day and they did a fantastic job, adding features such as rounded edges that we had not requested. Our yard has become a little corner of paradise.

We had some parging redone and interlock removed and raised at the front of our property. Justin and his helper came on time, did an amazing job and left the site clean and tidy. Very professional, polite and friendly...we would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I hired EPE based on some lovely work they did refacing my neighbour's house. I needed to remove my pool which involved removing the concrete apron, pulling out the liner, tearing down a small shed and filling in the hole. After that I had them create a seating area and replace the interlock around my house. They also parged my foundation. The crew arrived at 7 on Monday as promised and finished the last work and cleanup the following Sunday at 4 by working 12 to 14 hour days (7 days straight). The crew were professional and polite and took the time to answer questions, show me the work at every stage and adjust as needed to ensure I was happy. The job was completed for exactly the price I was quoted and the results are beautiful and should last for years. My original request was for sod to be put down but it was too early in the season to order sod so they seeded the lawn and have been back to see that the grass is coming in well. I'm a very happy customer and have already hired them to come back to replace the fence along the side of my properly.

We hired Jason for a few odd jobs around the house. Some of them were done very well. Others were left incomplete or the quality of materials used was sub par. Work completed in a week included drywall in the basement, in the dining room, changing the toilets to new ones for all the bathrooms, caulking all sinks in the home and painting certain parts of the home etc. Quite a few odd jobs.

Things done really well: polite staff, came on time the first week.

The work they did was well done in the living room. The paint and patch work, level of cleanliness was acceptable. The basement work was reasonably well also. Some parts underneath which are hard to see, were not done and there was a good 3 hours of clean up left for me to do after they left.

The caulking around some of the sinks initially was all peeling off. they came back to fix some of these, but others they said they would be back later to complete and have never come back.

The paint in the main level was fine, but in one of the bathrooms is quite bad. We asked them to come back to fix it. He made note of it, agreed to come back but never did. Eventually i offered to pay him more just to repaint, but he has never come back to complete this work.

The toilets were installed well. A couple of them leaked and the staff came to look at it right away. But that was all the after support he has sent.

I have reached out to Jason quite a few times before I have posted this add to give them fair chance since we are in a pandemic. I reached out to him August, October, December. In those conversations he said he would be in touch to follow up. However, he has not responded to my texts from January or February. The job started March 2020. If he finishes his work, it would be good. But since he hasn't been reliable I would not recommend home stars or this company or give them any more of my business.

Overall, Jay and his crew (shoutout especially to Adam) gave us a good experience. They were courteous, professional, and competent at all times. Jay was also visionary, helping us turn our idea into a plan and then a reality. And not a single cost overrun. The finished product looks fantastic and functions well for our requirements. On the flipside, I would, however, caution that there were some permit issues. More specifically, I asked Jay if we would need one for the job. He answered no. Once the job was done, we got a visit from bylaw, followed by a registered letter, to advise that the job was not compliant with city regulations (encroachments). To Jay's credit, once I advised him of the situation he got someone out ASAP to remove the illegal encroachment. I should also mention that after the first winter, one of the steps they laid came loose. Jay came out relatively quickly after I advised him of the issue then sent someone to fix what appears to be a failure of the glue. Overall I would recommend, with a caution to check your own permits and bylaws.

Jason and his team did great work in fixing our crumbling cement walls and repairing our interlocking though out the front of our home and repairing our front area landscaping. We are very happy with the work. They were prompt and did the job as expected.
