We watched Derek and his crew replace a neighbour’s cedar roof and were so impressed with what we saw that we engaged his services after requesting a quote. Because our roof is identical to the neighbour’s, we knew exactly what to expect and Derek delivered. His crew was efficient and did an excellent job on both the torch on and the cedar, and Derek was frequently on site to ensure the work met his exacting standards. The materials used were premium grade cedar shakes (not shingles), so we are confident that our roof will withstand the rains for many years to come! Derek is a stickler for details, and did most of the finer touches, like diverters and chimney stack assembly, himself, always checking to see if we were satisfied with the results. The work site was left clean and tidy by the roofers, and Derek completed the final cleanup himself. We found him to be agreeable, communicative, professional, and very customer service oriented, and would highly recommend Accountable Roofing Services to anyone wanting work done to the highest standards. Derek is very polite, clean and professional. He told me what the best replacement skylight would be, explained why, and gave me a run down on the replacement process. His price was reasonable based on other estimates we got. He did some additional roof repairs and his cost estimates were accurate, with no surprises.

After he replaced the skylight I noticed some gaps in the trim on the inside. I asked him if that would cause problems, but he told me it's the remains of the original and it wasn't an issue. He then offered to come back to remove the skylight and replace the trim at no additional cost. It looks great now.
