Northern Windows And Doors

Windows were replaced but left the bottom not caulked. This was approximately five years ago now. I phoned and complained but nothing has been done. You can look right up the crack in every window. Risk of bugs or rodents climbing up and nesting I would think. Probably heat loss and moisture getting in also. Im glad I found this site to complain and for others to see

Customer service was absolutely terrible. The initial fee quote was provided by someone using very obvious sales tactics but they said the door could be installed within 6 weeks and had a reasonable price so I signed a contract a few days later. This contract now had a longer window of 6-7 weeks, signed Sept 7th. The next email was October 6th to confirm colour code for exterior. I heard no updates from them for 20 days until I reached out on Oct 26th and did not get a response until Oct 28th after I already sent a second email. They said the door would be finished by Nov 15th because of delays and we can book install after that date. I replied asking to book date now so I can inform my employer. I did not get a reasons back until Nov 3rd after sending the email a second time. We booked install for Nov 13 and they would email me middle of that week to confirm the time. No email by November 10th so I sent another email and we booked a time. Install was done mostly without issues however the installer damaged one side of the (very cheap) weather stripping which my partner noticed and requested immediate replacement. He did this, and the next evening I noticed some air leakage near the bottom right of the frame. I inspected and noted that the new strip was ripped at the bottom, as was the left side. I sent them yet another email and had already escalated a complaint to better business bureau. They came again to replace the weatherstripping and the issue is unchanged. After doing my own research I will be buying the appropriate supplies to hopefully fix the air leak once and for all that THIS COMPANY LEFT IN MY DOOR AFTER RETURNING TWICE TO "FIX"

Waiting at long as we did and having false time lines provided at the start, lack of communication, and damage to the door (as there is also two very small dents on the bottom inside) is not acceptable and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We went with this company to install 2 large windows in our living room. The service was great from start to finish. They took the time to listen to any questions or concerns and completed the job beautifully. They were meticulous and ensured that the windows were installed to code. Now we have beautiful windows, without a trace of dust left behind!! Thank you Northern Windows, we are so happy with the hard work you put into the project!!!

Our daughter’s rooms were so freezing cold in the winter, you could almost see your breath! We had space heaters going continuously just to stay warm. When Ilya and his crew removed the old windows, they immediately saw the problem which was an error by the original house builders. They were able to fix the problem and we are so excited to enjoy a much cozier winter without the constant drone of heaters going.
I am thrilled with my fancy new door and am loving the additional natural light it provides.
The installers were efficient and clean, putting in some long days, even in a heat wave.

Just ordered 4 new windows. My wife and I were very happy with the results of are order last year. The installers did a great job and they are very professional. I recommend them to anyone that mentions they are getting new windows. Thank you for your hardwork.

I would highly recommend Northern Windows and Doors. After calling 5 different companies they were the only ones that provided a solution to our unique problem of needing custom 28" venting french doors. I'm rarely impressed and often disappointed when I pay for professional service. That was not the case with Northern Windows and Doors. They met and far exceeded my expectations. We will certainly be using them again in the future.

Fantastic workmanship and great guys!! They installed quickly and efficiently. Metal frame trim added a beautiful look to our log home. I highly recommend Northern Windows & Doors and will use them on our next project
