We have worked with Neil for about 3 months (so far) on a complete renovation of a house we recently purchased. The 1966 house had undergone numerous renovations by the previous homeowners and required significant redesign and structural reframing to bring it up to code and make it safe and functional for our family. Neil’s expert input has been invaluable in helping us to move forward in a timely and budget-friendly manner. Neil and his team have completed the first big phase of the project (the framing of the original house) and were always friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They demonstrated excellent workmanship; communicated effectively with the numerous people involved in this complicated phase of the project; and facilitated access to expertise, trades, and supplies to keep things moving forward. We are very happy with the work they’ve done so far and are excited to work with them on the next phase, which is building the addition.

Generally 25 to 30% higher than competitors,I would recommend stay away from this company it would save you a nightmare,
likes to add project management fees but doesn’t project manage work with trades,
Doesn’t follow up with any work completed or Non-finished items,Or billing mistakes,
Also gets aggressive and defensive when challenged!!

This work was part of a legal basement suite project on a 1977 1.5 storey duplex. We had one entrance split into 2 and a dividing wall built between the existing stairs. This has given the main floor and basement suite, separate entrances. Rosewood completed the work on time, worked considerately and planned around other trades and inspections. They were able to salvage/protect existing flooring, and siding etc. to control cost and maintain the original look and so match the rest of the house. We now have a professional finish and feel it had been me to attracting a good tenant, thanks Neil!

Neil and his team did a great job on our project. We were thrilled with every step and they met their timelines. We were living in the house through the renovation but experienced very little disruption as all of his team worked very respectfully and tidied up every day. We’re very happy with the work and the process and happily recommend Rosewood to anyone considering a home reno project.

Neil, of Rosewood Carpentry, did a stunning deck build for us just over a year ago. We have enjoyed our space immensely! Won't call them again, not able to perform basic home handyman services and very slack in scheduling. They took 2 months to get to the estimated work and then refused to perform certain simple tasks. Bad
attitude to deal with!

We hired Neil to complete our basement carpentry (doors/frames, baseboards, window casing) and he did a great job. He was very detailed and very trustworthy. He completed the job very quickly but with great attention. would definitely recommend hiring him again. Mike
