This is my first year working with Julian and his company on snow shoveling. When I called, he came on the same day to provide an estimate. His prices were on the higher side but overall, he and his crew did a great job shoveling snow and salting the walkways. He also left extra salt for us each time when his crew visited. Since this was my first year working with him, I also asked him to call me and let me know if his crew had been at my properties or were not able to make it due to other emergencies. He has done a good job keeping me informed. I have noted that his crew tended to use a lot of salt. But I found him respectful and receptive to my feedback. I am very likely to use his snow shoveling service again in the future.

The work was done in a timely fashion with precision and care. I was really happy with the work done and would definitely call in the future. This company went beyond my needs to make sure I was happy with the work and I can’t say enough about the timely fashion it was done!

Julian and his crew were able to do this job for us on very short notice, knowing that we had another contractor coming in on a specific date to install a sliding door.
They were super-professional, and didn't disrupt our lives, which was very appreciated. They respected COVID protocols as well. They arrived on time, and were great at explaining what they were planning to do, reassuring me on the dimensions they were going to leave for my opening, and answering any questions I had along the way.

You can hardly tell there used to be a door opening on the side, because they took the care to recover and clean off old bricks and used not a single new brick to close off the old door! The enlarged sliding door opening was also perfectly sized and looks great. I can hardly believe there was a tiny little window where that sliding door is now. They left us with the additional historic bricks as well, in case we need to replace some more around the house in the future.

They supplied the required steel lintel, limestone sill, some new bricks for around the sliding door, and colour-matched the mortar.

An extra kudos - these guys came in to finish on a Sunday (Father's Day, no less) because they knew how important it was for me to get the job done by the next day. They also left the job site clean and ready for the door guy to do his thing.

It was an absolute pleasure working with them, and the results speak for themselves. An excellent job, done on time, on budget. No complaints whatsoever. If you're considering JJR Construction, hire them yesterday. You won't be sorry with the results!!

We were looking for a “natural” look for the backyard. Tired of walking on the river stone we had in the past I reached out to Julian at Jjr (who was referred to me by a Neigbour who also had an excellent experience). Julian was responsive, professional and communicative. Great work and highly recommended!

Julian and his team were fantastic. From coming to our house on his initial visit and fully understanding our needs, to providing a couple of options for moving forward (including his recommendation), providing a detailed quote for scope of work and of course the project work. Their work was wonderful, communication clear and were on time and budget. JJR Construction resurfaced our old front concrete porch with limestone slabs; the work was done very quickly and expertly, and the result is beautiful. I would highly recommend JJR Construction to anyone who is considering having any type of stonework or interlocking done; you will be extremely pleased with the result.
Fast forward 4 months and we call Julian and his team again for another project. Last year we hired a contractor to lay an L-shaped walkway and build garden walls. The result was mediocre at best. The walkway and the walls were neither parallel to the house neither perpendicular. We can’t afford to rip everything out and start from the scratch. We asked Julian to rebuild part of the walkway and garden wall that were leading to the front door. Working with the strange angles Julian needed to be creative so that the old part and the new part look together as it was intended from the start. it was a pleasure to work with the person who understands what he is doing. We are not cringing anymore when we open the front door. We are very, very happy with the result. Thank you Julian and the team.
